In the article, basically tenjin-san's experience in real world aircraft (i presume during the macross plus days) designed the tampo's to increase the atmosphere of the aircraft! Take that to mean no steps everywhere lol....

Hope the DX is as nice as a custom kit. Bandai sure likes playing coy on the E and the A (as in kit and DX supers).

It was not something i pondered abt, but as a kid i tot he was trans *shrugs* and not merely a cross dresser... all of that didnt matter as much as he had blades on his arms and missile pods on the chest!

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Thats art. The other aspect of better tampo are higher resolution prints, vibrant color range, fit to edges or resistance to fading/peeling amongst many things. This to bandai's credit, I have seen them improve. Just looking at the sv-262 and the recent 31a gold wings on the skull leader emblem or the delta valks, that wow feeling you get when u notice the tampo while unboxing the valk. Knock on wood, so far I feel bandai is on a roll and deserves the title of tampo-king for their quality of tampo. edit* just realised this is an arcadia thread. So, in no way reflective of arcadia's efforts and not comparing the behemoth that is bandai in terms of resources.

That gleaming skull wings deserves to have the 31S rotating on a lighted display! It would be even more gorgeous if bandai had kept the size of the emblem bigger, but would probably have issues tampo printing over so many gaps... Nice post... Yeah i can see that.... The 31 wings forms a nice triangular shape on the back framing the overall body also. This 31 design is awesome!

Nice! I tot 8 on the wings was a bit overkill but battroid wears it better. The extra ordinance from the 19 would even give more loadout options!

They probably wanted to avoid another the 31A episode.. Its December.
