I second the hmr choice. As for valks at 1/35 scale, bandai is probably going the safer route as a1/35 would be released at higher price ranges. With all the releases so far maybe they think not many collectors would b able to afford it. Not only that but not many would have space to display it.

There seems to be a panel line there. At this scale maybe panel lines would be deep enough for some customs. But yeah it would be nice if there was one there already. Wont conclude anything yet until the special announcement page on the tamashii site is out.

Wow what a cool metallic looking color on the insert, when reflected with light! They should have made the emblem bigger with more orange hue in the emblem wings, but whatchagonnado.

Awaiting news on the gimmicks and such so that it will blind us to the price. That should be tomorrow-ish on the tamashii page hopefully.

Hmm I would thk 1/48 scale should hold more detail and tampo? Or removable panels for mechanical details? Ejector seats? Ability to remove cockpit and dock with another valk? Heck in other words, everything the yammie had but with more tampo and articulation... man I don't know whether to wish this to be so expensive, then I would have it easier to plan my budget .....

Love the 31A, followed by the 31F head, and most likely chuck's in the top 3 in the future.. Those are the unique and different instead of visor shaped eye slots.. Tho i can understand why mirage is very appealing with her dual visor and back line sensor. Urgh only told my self to get 2 walkure valks + a 31A valk maximum.......gah......am up to 4 now....

Thanks for the post! Originally tot battroid mode would end up too cluttered in its colors and patterns but somehow am really liking it more than the other modes.... Must be the red in the shoulders and fins! And yeah the missiles are a nice inclusion!

Ah right, if your local can get you a 31S at original PO prices, then by all means get that. I haven't seen any pre-ordered orders being cancelled as frequently online. But with the DX 1J announcement, you never know right? Folks might be cancelling to save cash on that...

Better prices online or better prices on-site in JP? Am thinking online prices are pretty reasonable, with a 2k yen markup for a DX chogokin which was pretty much sold out since pre-order.
