Not to mention Zentradi star charts are either woefully outdated, inaccurate, or hell, uncharted. Zentradi are using maps created in Protoculture times. Suns may have gone nova, planets may no longer exist, habitable planets may not be habitable anymore or vice versa, black holes may have formed, stellar drift, hell... gravity, etc. They're not wandering aimlessly, they're wandering with the aim of finding stuff along the path they pick.

And then another group of Jawas would come by and take the cinder blocks.

Yes they are comprised of male and female. Kissing and music? We don't know because no one besides the Zentradi/Meltrandi have really encountered them (and we don't know when their last encounter was amongst all the fleets out there). As we saw is Macross 7, kissing did nothing and only Basara's singing had any real effect. If the brainwashing techniques hold true for the SA as they did for Varauta army, it's gonna take more than any singer and PDA to break that brainwashing. But since no one has encountered them, we don't know. You're just going have to accept that answer.

Like we said... Mental note: If I'm ever on a planet with Jawas, set the anti-theft setting to "Jawa".

Then again, we never knew what Bilra looked like before Frontier. He could have looked more or less the same 50 years earlier.

It’s not important. And it’s probably moot since they’re all dead now. That’s kind of a thing with bounty hunting. You usually don’t ask unless it’s syndicate, in which case, that better be a freakin’ fortune of a reward.

These are the same people who decided to create a class of bioweapons to deal with growing internal conflicts ala Halo's Spartans at the same time they thought it was a good idea draw power from a different dimension with those bioweapons without taking a look around in that said differnt dimension to see if there was anyone around that...I don't know...might wonder what the heck was going on and cross into our universe.

Oh yeah, Iman Vellani’s Kamala Khan, Tatiana Maslany’s Jennifer Walters… The old cast pretty much is getting phased out.

Probably time to introduce Miles Morales. Gotta join Hailee's Kate Bishop, Florence's Yelena Belova, and soon to be Kathryn Newton's Cassie Lang.

Yeah....careful. You're missing a part there. Macross VFs still use fuel/propellant (even if it's fraction vs space-use). The fancy fold rocks have unique properties making them ideal for creating the gravitational force needed to sustain the thermonuclear reaction, which is part of the whole fusion power-thingy. But they still need a fuel; namely hydrogen. No.

And it takes a lot of power to sustain the barrier under fire/bombardment without overloading the the power systems. So either the PPB power depletes (bad but survivable) or one blows out the entire power system (of which you'll have to be pried out of that expensive non-flying paper-weight, if one survives that long).

Long answer: With some creative retrofitting, anything could be made to fit. Short-answer: Not off-hand.

Just curious. Have you watched any Macross besides SDFM or watched SDFM (non-Robotech'd)?

This ship is leaking now. You probably want to stay off the 'Net from now til opening day if you don't want to be spoiled.

No they cannot transform. The only "transforming" section was the main cannon. The ship was designed to be modular which the SDF-1 crew later created the transformation system out to rearranging the modular sections to keep them together.

The Chronicle mentions this so whether you believe it or not... This actually lines up with how power usage in Macross is distributed between modes. For VFs, power is devoted to the engines in fighter mode, getting the best performance out of the engines and less for other systems which are less advantageous in each mode. Switching modes redistributes power to other systems like the robotics motors, defensive systems (ECA/PPB) and weapons. The same concept applies to the capital ships. Switching modes reallocates power to systems that need it more. Of course they can reallocate in other modes but switching modes does it as part of standard operating procedure. Switching to battle-mode automatically diverts power away from engines, which will need less power, to defensive systems, barrier systems, robotics, or weapons, which need it more. That surplus of power can also feed the gunship to improve recharge time (rate-of-fire) or power output/shot. If you've ever played Star Wars: Squadrons, X-wing vs TIE Fighter, X-Wing, or TIE Fighter, the power distribution concept is the same.

Part of it is lost in translation. It's written as 監察軍 or Inspection Army/Controlled Army/Supervised Army/Monitor Army; as in the controlled army of the Protodeviln. Over time it's just shortened to "Supervision Army". Yes. I actually answered this very question back in 2003 and 2004. The actual reason is so the gunship can main-line from the primary reactor(s) of the mothership, thereby increasing the rate of fire or power output. In ship mode, power is devoted to the engines. Battle mode redistributes power away from the engines to other systems like the gunship.

Nope. Different area of combat, different fighter used. Not everyone uses the same equipment in different parts of the world. Also the VF-0's development and production was so rushed and sooooo small, the entire production line literally could fit on a single aircraft carrier.
