  1. Modern Family and The Office,...with Muppets. At least they admit it's a parody. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pfJkusicBa4
  2. It would be a waste not to and I doubt DC/WB would mind considering their working relationship with CBS. But you would have to pay actors for showing up on 2 networks, potentially promoting a show from your competition. So yeah money and penny pinching. Money is a cruel master.
  3. The producers are the same and they have had big happy grins when asked that question. However CBS' head honchos have been more "Ummm, no" on the question. Probably because that would involve <$$$$$$> more than anything.
  4. And here's a trailer from CBS's upcoming Fall lineup. From the same people who brought us Arrow and The Flash, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lm46-envrHo Considering the producers are the same as the previously mentioned shows, CBS owns a stake in CW, and well, the producers of these shows haven't categorically denied a crossover...
  5. Who cares how bad it looks. It's still coming out before a Robotech-movie.
  6. As I mentioned, when VF weapons have either enough kinetic energy to penetrate armored targets or are specifically designed for use against armored targets (anti-armor munitions), then having ECA makes little difference. The caveat is using anti-aircraft munitions against capital ships. Even if your anti-aircraft bullets/energy weapons can penetrate ECA, the amount of firepower needed to bring down a capital ship with ECA will far exceed what a aircraft can dish out under normal circumstances (a VF-27/YF-29/YF-30's gunpod has the firepower but it requires a tremendous amount of energy to do so and can only do so as fast as it can charge a shot). If a aircraft did strafing runs, yes it could bring down a ship, but that would take time.
  7. Someone should tell FOX to stop trying. Anyone wanna start the clock for how long this one will last? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_fLl-DMzxrk FYI, Fox just release trailers for some of their new shows in the Fall lineup. Lineups for the other networks should be coming this week. Lucifer looks fun, but I see it dying after a season. This one is based of a Vertigo-comic.
  8. Joss Whedon on Fighting With Marvel Over 'Avengers: Age of Ultron': "It Got Really, Really Unpleasant" (Original podcast here: https://soundcloud.com/empiremagazine/avengers-age-of-ultron-spoiler-podcast-joss-whedon-and-paul-bettany)
  9. Given how game releases have been for the past few years, pre-ordering isn't advisable. Especially on big titles.
  10. Pictured from left to right are: Adam Beach (Cowboys & Aliens) as Slipknot, Jai Courtney (Terminator: Genisys) as Captain Boomerang, Cara Delevingne (Paper Towns) as Enchantress, Karen Fukuhara as Katana, Joel Kinnaman (RoboCop) as Rick Flagg, Margot Robbie (The Wolf Of Wall Street) as Harley Quinn, Will Smith (Men In Black) as Deadshot, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Thor: The Dark World) as Killer Croc, and Jay Hernandez (Hostel) as El Diablo.
  11. Or a Pacific Rim ripoff.
  12. Like I said, until he's actually filming, don't put too much faith behind rumor talk. Case in point from yesterday: Josh Trank Departs Star Wars Anthology Film Trank was signed up and ready to film but then things happen and the studio and director split. So when HG brings in the hype machine at their convention panels, remember stuff like this. And remember all they other times they've named-dropped and yet nothing happened.
  13. People have short memories.
  14. Typical Hollywood behavior. They shoot for money makers to attract ad revenue. But like most Hollywood rumors, unless the person is actually filming the movie, it's all talk. Even if they're signed up, they still have to deal with everything else that could get in the way before filming starts. Look at Ant-Man. Edgar Wright was on-board right up to filming when Marvel and him decided to split. Typical HG behavior will be spinning up the hype machine at their next convention panel.
  15. Wikipedia has you covered.
  16. The article glosses over the fact that he has a few other movies he's being tapped for director-duties so who knows if he'll actually stay on-board if they grab him or when he'll even get to a RT movie.
  17. Like I said, site compromises happens to every site at some point in their lifetime. As for the e-mail thing, I'll just wait for someone to hit "Reply All" then I'll bang my head on the desk.
  18. The obvious answer is maybe they should update the backend of the site to something more modern and mobile-friendly. Obviously there's much better forum software out there than whatever they were using. Sounds like they were using one of many hosting providers out there and it got hit which brings up the question what else was being served up on that box besides RT.com cuz those sites probably got hit as well. Of which I say, "Meh. It happens."
