    Just wait until you get around to the middle of the series! One of the things that I really got a kick out of was the fact that the voice of the Dominators is played by Noriko Hidaka!

    I really hate to admit it, but I'm finding Lightning Returns hard enough on normal that I may just quit and start over on easy. Normally, I'd grind in a game like this to over-level myself and power through, but with the game's time-based play, this isn't an option.

    I doubt it will be a slow moving target. I'm quite sure that it'll have enough thrusters to more than compensate for its increased mass.

    Not necessarily. Do You Remember Love? could still just be a Minmay song. All that having DYRL as movie within the Macross universe means is that the title song was just one of her regular songs instead of the one that saved humanity.

    Threre's also a very large retro-arcade in Chicago called The Galloping Ghost. They also have Cobra Command, but it wasn't up and running when I was there during this past June. That arcade also has the DYRL game. Red Bank, NJ also has a retro-arcade, Yestercades, but it's nowhere near as big as The Galloping Ghost or American Classic Arcade Museum.

    That last arcade is down in Point Pleasant in Ocean County. It doesn't have Cobra Command anymore, though. I hope that I didn't confuse you there. I only meant that it was the only arcade that's still around, not the only arcade to have the game.

    After hearing everyone raving about Brave Default, I broke down and bought both the game and a 3DS XL. I actually got lucky and found the system on sale at Target for $175.

    Believe it or not, Cobra Command was in quite a few arcades down by me. I can think of about five arcades in my area that had the game. What's really sad is that out of those five, only one of those arcades is still open. All the others are long gone.

    Cobra Command also known as Thunder Storm on some machines was my favorite arcade game when I was around 13 and the only arcade game that I could beat! I've always loved the into theme to that game. In fact, I loved it enough that I actually took a tape recorder into an arcade to record it. The animation for the game was produced by Toei.

    I bought Lightning Returns last night. I'm finding it to easily be the hardest Final Fantasy game ever, not including the high-level content in XI or XIV. There's an easy setting, but I went right for normal and don't plan on quitting, despite the difficulty. So far in the history of me and Final Fantasy games, VIII is the only one that I hated and never completed.

    I only had the space men in red, yellow, and white. I had quite a few of the late-70s to early-80s space sets, but never owned any of the Futuron, Blacktron, or Space Police sets.

    No, there isn't. Trust me, if there's any news on any new anything related to Macross, it will be announced here, often on the very front page of the site.

    The Galaxy Explorer was the very first Lego space set that I ever had! The Starfleet Voyager was also my personal favorite and the very first Lego set that I bought with my own money.

    I was hoping that they'd get around to making a VF-0D toy! Hopefully, things will be a bit better for me financially by the time this comes out.

    Congratulations on getting the Dendobrium kit! I remember getting mine at Anime Expo a decade ago. To get it home, I actually had to check it in as a separate piece of baggage!

    I saw an update about this just moments ago when a friend posted the announcement of a Ghostbusters set. I laughed a bit when the girl in the video pronounced it Maycross. http://networkedblogs.com/Tjrsc The Valkyrie is mentioned at around the 2:40 mark.

    I always meant to get both the Albion and Musai sets, but never got around to getting them. I did however, buy Re-GZ set.

    After knowing about its existence for as long as I've been an anime fan (29 years to be exact), I finally got to see Space Carrier Blue Noah. I found it to be pretty enjoyable even though it was the English dub version of it, Thunder Sub.

    Funny how Tommy Yune is praising this fan film one minute, then the next minute, they get a C & D order. Talk about two-faced! I wonder what his spin on this is going to be.
