    Um.... the UN? First of all, they have Valks. Secondly, I don't recall the UN fire-bombing an island full of peaceful villagers or killing the crew of a Mars research base.

    Since I don't know anything about Haruhi, I'm going to sumarize this as best as I can: Crazy, reality-challenged, Highschool kids go on a quest to find the Macross? Ah hell, why not? Also, I'm getting worried about the guy who writes "Wings of the Fairy." I don't think he (or she) has updated in about three months. So I was talking about things with some guys on the Gundamn!@MAHQ FB group and crossovers and Macross came up. Then I got to thinking about Star Wars. That little lightbulb went off on my head. I went hunting and found this: It gives me ideas.

    Poor endings aside, it does stack up pretty well. Personally I gave it an 8.0 out of 10.

    I wonder how they're going to explain how there are Battleships when A) The battleship became outdated all the way back in World War Frakkin' Two. B)The US Navy hasn't had a Battleship in service since 1992.

    His name is Obright Lorain. And yes, the names in this series are patently weird. Fezarl Ezelcant doesn't roll off the tongue quite as neatly as Treize Khushrenada.

    Sorta, kinda speaking of Minmay... I know it's stretching it, but it is a pretty interesting picture of Mari Iijima and Arthur C. Clarke.

    I don't know about the OMS pods, I'll have to ask dad. And these pics were taken about two weeks ago. This pod was parked off of to the side of Endeavour, in OPF2. One of my personal favorites: Climbing out of Atlantis' hatch. I still can't quite believe it.

    It would help if adult Flit were a little more fleshed out. Maybe with some Treize-style internal monologues? Or if this episode didn't completely ignore all the character drama from the last episode... Hey here's a thought. Instead of frakkin' Dique finding Asemu about to scarper with the Mu-cell, wouldn't it have been a great scene if ROMARY had caught him instead? 'Course the trick to that is inventing an excuse to get her off the bridge... ah hah! Flit notices the AGE-2 is late launching again and says so. Romary, who's been looking for an excuse to talk to Asemu since he blew her off, personally volunteers to go look for him. On her way to the hangar, she sees him go into the room where the Mu-cell is kept, goes in to find him smashing the case and bob's yer uncle. But that didn't happen because Romary is a plot-device, not an actual character. Concerning Asemu, my theory is that Wuulf will die in the next episode or two and finally give him the power to become a Super Pilot. It could also underscore how much Asemu and Flit have drifted apart. This lack of romance in AGE is kinda baffling. I wonder if we'll eventually get the Ikeda Excuse. I mean, just looking back at SEED, which was last generation's flagship show, you really have to wonder. We had Kira/Flay sex scene and tragedy, Athrun and Cagalli, Mu and Murrue's tragic romance, Miriallia/Tolle/Dearka, and the supposed relationship between Kira and Lacus. Smeg, I think at one point I got a vibe that Natarle might also have had a thing for Kira.

    I gotta say, first time I've ever heard people say Jeri Ryan isn't hot but to each his own I suppose. And I do like the new design of the Enterprise. Please no Khan.

    Yes but most of the masked aces from the last twenty years haven't needed a red suit. A little speculation: Decil is absolutely chomping at the bit to get revenge but thinks Zehart's methods are too slow. So he arranges to have Emily and Unoa kidnapped and tells Flit that to get them back, he has to hand over the AGE System core. While a rescue is mounted, Decil goes to see Emily and Unoa to rub the proverbial salt into the wound. He tells them all about Yurin and speculates nastily that Emily was probably just second-best and that everything Flit is doing now is an elaborate scheme to get revenge for Yurin's death. And just to twist the knife a little, he tells Unoa she'd look much prettier with violet hair. Oh and tells them that Flit and Asemu will get to watch them die just like Yurin did.

    So, Gundam AGE episode 20 and...y'know, I am getting just a little tired with the "The Red MS Goes 3x Faster" schtick.
