    i might be wrong about this, but i think it has something to do with the manufacturing process. could it be the plastic injection molding process is running at a higher load, meaning the cooling process of the plastic wasn't done long enough, thus leads to the shrinking of the plastics or change in the physio-chemical structure of the plastics after the plastics kinda settled down after a period of time.

    i'm planning to get the vf-19s so i really hope the vf-22s of hi-metal comes out asap.

    ray doesnt really stand out though. yea, mac+ is an exception cos it's a story of heros, they were born heros.

    i think ozma deserves some light too, his no-nonsense old-school attitude makes him an acceptable successor to roy as a skull leader. i always believe that the heros were developed by their leaders. without these leader characters, there won't be any hero characters. although in series other than sdf:m and mac-f, i don't really see any mentors that stand out like roy and ozma.

    I like all 3 renditions of the VF-1S, they all serve different purposes and have their pros and cons. revo = flimsy/poseable/playable; hi-metal = not perfect trans/innovative transformation/playable; yammie = perfect trans/accurate/large-scale.

    assembled and painted (somehow), will touch-up and add decals. anyone knows what stand i can use to support it?

    nothing's perfect imho, we can always try to fix it ourselves. loose joints can be tightened, broken shoulders can be replaced. nobody wants anything to happen to their valks, neither to their yammies or their DXs.

    nice, i am getting one too, should arrive in 2 weeks, cant wait to receive it. i think they used the ball swivel like the ones in the vf-25s. gonna need some additional friction added to be stiffer.

    My faves are SDF:M (inclusive of DYRL) for influencing my childhood and MF for reigniting my deculture.
