  1. I have no complaint about the toy, but the MSRP of $80 seems too high for such a small toy. Only time will tell if people are willing to pay that much. I'm not a big enough fan of Mospeada to buy these at $80...maybe at $40 I'd bite.
  2. That site it hilarious. The anime Strong Bad is my favorite.
  3. Biased people seldom realize that they are indeed biased, let alone admit it
  4. I totally agree. My ONLY complaint about Toynami's Voltron is that the paint job looks to be hand painted (especially noticable on the black lion), but I suspect that is because it is a late prototype.
  5. To infinity and beyond! LOL. It does remind me of Buzz now that you bring it up
  6. Thanks. So glad you cleared that up
  7. The more of these Enigma customs I see, the more I'm starting to want one. No way would I be brave enough to customize my one and only 1/48, but I do have a couple of spare 1/60's. Hmmmm..... Oh yeah, just remembered something: I am "teh suck" at painting.
  8. Personally, I think they should have an Engrish version of their site for comedic purposes.
  9. Yes, the 1/60 M&M's come with a TV-style pilot.
  10. Wow. Awesome scoop. Thanks for the pics. It's always hard to judge a toy from its prototype. I'm not sure how I feel about the scale on the VF-0...I need to see it next to a 1/60 and/or 1/48 VF-1. I didn't think the VF-0 was THAT much bigger than a VF-1 so I'm kinda suprised they didn't stick with the 1/60 or 1/48 scales..Oh well, we'll know soon enough I suppose.
  11. I wondered about this also. The box just says Super VF-1J, no mention of Hikaru. The M&M 1/60's do, however, have their respective names on the box. And it comes with a DYRL style pilot. Also the border around the visor is white like in DYRL and not gray like in the TV series (animation errors aside). So I used to think that it was indeed supposed to represent that one VF-1J seen in DYRL, but then Yamato went and confused me with their 1/48 Super 1J where they clearly state that it is Hikaru Ichijo AND it has the TV-style pilot...so the short of it is....only Yamato really knows.
  12. After all the hype you guys built up, I hope this doesn't just *poof* into thin air like the supposed Christmas-week update
  13. The low-viz was not in the show, the GBP armor was however
  14. Personally my favorite is the VF-1J, but since the poll asked which is more popular, and not which is my favorite, I said the VF-1S.
  15. People just seem to love reviving this thread from the dead
  16. Should we start running everything by you first to see if it is "useful" to you before allowing others to discuss something?
  17. Awesome work. Can't wait to see battroid pics
  18. You can attach the gunpod to the forearm on the Yamato 1/48's & 1/60's and the Toynami Masterpiece toys also. The Bandais, however, are the only valks (of those mentioned here) that cannot have the gunpod mounted in fighter mode.
  19. I'm not so sure it's fake. At least the photo itself doesn't appear to be a "photo-chop". Search Google and tons of pics from this photo session pop up (Google), the most credible being this one. Now the signature, on the other hand, I have no idea whether or not that's fake.
  20. Hardy har har <_< Another wise-crack from the anti-tranny
  21. BTW, how did you get yours to stand up straight with the armor on? The armor seemed to heavy and the only way I could get mine to stand up straight was to lean it against something. Here's how I was "forced" by gravity to pose mine:
  22. Easy. Strike cannon all the way
  23. To be fair, they never tried to pass if off as a trailer. Whoever took the picture just got creative. It doesn't really suck for what it intended to be...which is nothing more than a pretty picture to put behind Prime in the box. Saying it sucks as a trailer is like saying a pencil sucks as a baseball bat. Well, the fact is that it's the inside of Prime's trailer. Obviously Hasbro didn't intend for it to be attatched to the outside of Prime to be hauled around. Enjoy some humor, would ya? No worries mate. I wasn't offended or anything like that. I didn't, however, realize you were joking though.
  24. I didn't care too much for FFX-2, but this looks like a nice statue.
