Fair enough. But I don't want my gaming console to be my DVD player. Sony is forcing their expensive Blu-ray tech on PS3 buyers while Microsoft is giving their customers that choice. Same thing with the wi-fi. Believe it or not, there are people who do not do online gaming so, again, Microsoft wins because they give the customer the choice of whether or not to buy that option. Sony does win with the bigger HD though.

They are not more detailed. They are the same toy only with different packaging. The only difference might be the paint schemes, which are DYRL style as opposed to TV style

Maybe just the lighting. If you look at the wing with the macross kite on it, near where the wing meets the body of the plane, it looks like the same gray as the heatshield to me :shrug:

I think Sony is doing Microsoft a huge favor by having such a high price point. If the top of the line PS3 were to be competively priced with the top of the line 360, then Microsoft might have felt more pressue to cut their prices. But with the PS3 costing so much more than the 360, the only other price competition comes from the Wii, which I'm thinking is only really going to appeal to a smaller market anyhow and probably won't be any real competition. Just my 2c

I don't know if it's even realistically possible, but I'd love to see somebody make intake covers that could opened, without needing to be removed.

The mecha designs are quite bad in my opinion. For example, the Ben Dixon VF-1A and the Max Sterling VF-1A do not look the same. They have totally different heads and different shoulders. So how are they both VF-1A's? Edit: Added pics Ben Dixon VF-1A Max Sterling VF-1A

I think SS looks pretty good. Too bad taking moving the kibble from the hips to the legs leaves two ugly (and very prominent) ball joints exposed on his hips though.

I really like the hands that Twoducks posted. They look like the perfect size and they're nice and beefy. The fingers already look spot on, but the back of the hand doesn't look right and would need some customizing.

I just hate that everyone is giving him so much attention. That's what these script kiddies get off on. They love to see people talking about them, good, bad, or otherwise. I say just forget about him and don't continue to feed his ego

Seems like it should be Nemesis Prime, or at least a Decepticon. I mean, he has red eyes and red windows. He looks far too evil to be an Autobot, especially Optimus Prime

But EVERY VF-1 released thus far comes with DYRL hands, so I didn't feel it even warranted mentioning

He's talking about the Strike/FAST packs not the valk itself. The Stealth 1J comes with DYRL-style (except color of course) Strike/FAST packs. There is no Stealth valk in the DYRL movie (unless it's so stealth we never see if )

I second that. Who doesn't have a DVD drive on their PC these days? If your computer is up-to-date enough to play any modern game, it's pretty safe to assume that it has a DVD drive.

About the M&M "Virgin Road" VF-1D, are we sure it's really supposed to be a VF-1D? Other than seeing Max & Miria both in the cockpit, do we ever get a clear look at the head or any other of the 1D's distinct features? Edit: And before anyone tells be about the Hasegawa kit, I already know

Has Kakizaki been released yet? Some online retailers are listing it as in stock now. So, anyone got theirs yet?
