No, there are small differences. The Shin 0A has white stripes across the chest and on the shoulders and forearms. Also, Shin's 0A does not have the dark gray stripes on the wings.

You and me both! The Max seems to be consistently demanding $300-$400 or more on eBay these days. Surely Yamato will re-release them (at least, I'm hoping). There's obviously more demand than supply

I'm a huge Lego fan. Have been since my early childhood. Lego has been selling themed (castle, town, space) sets since the 80's. I think people enjoy it because, while it might not look as good as an actual model kit, you still get the satisfying feeling that comes from building something but, unlike a traditional model, you can disassemble it and build something completely different. I can't explain it better than that

I don't have any contacts inside Yamato so this is just conjecture on my part, but I believe the general consensus for why the 2-seaters have not been released in 1/48 scale is that there is not a high enough demand to warrant the development costs. While the hard-core fans would buy them, the casual fan would probably pass on them and only pick up one or two of the "hero" valks.

I don't have a VF-0, but I do have quite a few 1/48 VF-1's. I have no trouble putting them in gerwalk mode with the nose angled down. You just need to angle the legs outwards a bit (i.e. twist the legs at the knee)

Hopefully the Shin variant will get the full tampo treatment that the 0S received. This just might be my first VF-0

I hope not! I desperately need them to reissue the Max & Milia Super 1J's. You just can't buy them at a reasonable price anymore. The Max seems to be going for near Low Vis v1 prices on ebay these days.

Just noticed that a few e-tailers have the Urban Camo GBP for pre-order, but the (average) price is even higher than the Woodland Camo GBP which itself was (on average) more expensive than the original canon GBP? Aren't repaints suppose to be more profitable for a company? So why should this repaint be more expensive than the previous repaint (that was also more expensive than its predecessor)? Has the dollar weakened even more against the yen that quick? When the first GBP was released, there was much concern about an accessory that cost ALMOST as much as the actual valk. Now, with the Urban Camo release, it's an accessory that DOES cost as much as a valk and, in some cases, MORE than a valk. This is getting ridiculous. EDIT: Nevermind. Looks like I might have jumped the gun. Looking around a bit more, seems the price is around the same as the Woodland Camo GBP. I still don't understand why it costs more than the original GBP though. :shrug:

I was hoping the whole Prometheus/ARMD-01 thing was going to be cleared up but I guess not. If they're going to copy a fan custom, they really should've done it right and got the markings correct. Mixing Prometheus with ARMD-01 seems weird. Plus, I was really hoping for the leg artwork that was on the original fan custom. Oh well, I won't complain much more, I'll be picking this one up anyway. I guess I'll need to pick up another Hikaru 1J too. Dang! This is a friggin expensive hobby

You used the DYRL numbers for Hikaru and Max, that's why I thought you were referring to DYRL. DYRL numbers: 011 - Hikaru (001 when he gets his VF-1S) 012 - Kakizaki 013 - Max (001 when he gets his VF-1S) TV Series numbers: 101 - Hikaru's VF-1J (001 when he takes over Roy's VF-1S) 102 - Kakizaki 103 - Max's VF-1A * * I don't remember if Max's VF-1J has a different number. EDIT: Spelling

Actually, Kakizaki IS 012 (for example: Yamato 1/48 Kakizaki)
