I don't want to hijack your thread USCOLMRNE, but I was just thinking about doing this too. Hopefully you don't mind if I post my request here with yours. Since nobody seems interested in the 1/48 Hikaru I have for trade, I was thinking it might make a great opportunity to finally have a custom 1/48. I was actually hoping for an Enigma scheme (like this one done by Kurt) though, or maybe a Blue Roses scheme (like this one done by Jung). I'm not sure who is available/interested in doing this type of work and I didn't want to just send blind PMs to people if they're not interested. I know a custom isn't cheap, but I must admit I have no idea how much something like this costs. So, any customizers out there interested?

Yamato trick? I'm pretty sure Yamato learned that trick from Hasbro/Takara. It's absolutely ridiculous how many repaints are released in the Transformers universe

Considering all I do is pose these things on a shelf and admire them, you'd think pictures would be good enough. But there's just something about being able to pick it up and transform it or pose it differently...I just don't think I could sell them off. I can't even bring myself to put them back in their boxes for safe keeping, I need to see them up on the shelf. I, unlike jenius, do have a few duplicates, but I don't really regret any purchases (although I'd really like to trade my most recent duplicate VF-1A Hikaru, but whatever I trade it for would also be a duplicate )

Why do people say things like this? How do you know how much his house is worth? Do you even know if he has a house? What if he has many houses? Do you know how much each is worth? And even if you do have more money invested in your toy collection than the worth of his house, does that mean "you win"? Are we competing in some kind of contest that I didn't know about?

This is very true. I bough a Coach bag for my wife for Christmas, $400.00 + another $150.00 for the matching wallet because ya' know, you can't have a purse without a matching wallet . And she has several others already. Just 4 of her bags cost more than all 13 of my 1/48's.

I got mine already. Got it Friday actually, from a seller on ebay by the name of l.hilu. I paid a bit more than I should have, but I just had to have it. It was still less than $200 after shipping.

6,090 yen is not $60 US dollars, it's closer to $52. Of course after the retailers add their markup for importing these things, I'm sure they will end up being around $60. Still quite expensive.

I needed another 1/48 VF-1A like I need another hole in my head, but it was such a steal. The pic of the CF 0A has a gray background and the Shin 0A pic has a blue background, so that might be playing tricks on our eyes.

True. I had forgot about the 1/60 Strike & Super valks. But the 1/48 Super 1J releases had the all of the missile types included, so I was hoping they would follow that trend.

I can't imagine Shin's 0A NOT having the regular missles that are packaged with the 0S and current 0A. I have no proof that they will be included, but not doing so would be pretty silly on Yamato's part. Not having the regular missles would make it look pretty weird without the Ghost booster

Click on the Start menu, then click Run, enter sndrec32 and press ENTER. Also accessible from Start menu -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Entertainment -> Sound Recorder. I'm sure it's not the best thing out there, but it is free and installed on all versions of Windows
