Mmm, I'm not sure. People don’t want to pay double the price because they think there should be a (theoretically) cheaper reissue. Of course nobody enjoys paying the current prices, but I think these toys would be sold out anyway had they started at a higher msrp.

The VF-19P should have 2 x internal high maneuverability micro-missile launchers and not 2 x internal weapons bays with 12 x medium-range high maneuverability missiles, am I wrong?

I think they got the VF-X licence simply because they needed the Battroid and gerwalk modes line art, which IIRC were registered in 1995, way after FB2012. I also think to remember Yamato has stated that on their website.

I think you’re over thinking it. With your argument of all the fancy uber-tech stealth junk they have by the 2050s we could also guess maintenance isn’t like what current aircrafts need.

Yeah, but what's the difference? All bloody planes are red or blue flying targets, I don’t think yellow or white accents change that fact at all.
