I certainly do not blame them for doing what they seem to be doing......we are getting pretty close to the bottom of the barrel and they have to do what it takes to stretch things out given what is left to cover, assuming they wish to release some more VFMF books. Other than the VF-17, I think everything else will be much more obscure to most casual fans. Of course, they can always delve into a VF-2SS book or two! And who wouldn't want a Destroid edition?

I do like the bigger squadron illustrations too....but clearly it was a way to fill up full pages while still delivering a book with "less" overall content....namely devoid of Battroid and Gerwalk eye-candy and the accompanying technical bits... The Battroid and Gerwalk lineart is nice and clean though....

The usual Max and Milia schemes seem to enjoy more coverage than usual in this VFMF book....not a fan of the colors on non-VF-1's, but they look beter than most on the VF-11...

So there is no "official" designation for this specific gunpod? Does the VF-11C's gunpod, which looks different, also not have an official designation? Kawamori just plain forgot? Or does someone else come up with these gunpod names?

Probably... "Lost in Google Translation"...but I could not find any mention of the lovely GU-15's bayonet.....guess that will need to wait until the VFMF VF-11 Battroid edition....

Can't recall...and most of my reference books, VFMF's included, are scattered at the moment to try and confirm... They also show this one...from a later point in the VF-11's service history (12 years according to the caption).... Looking forward to you and your team fleshing out the details...for now I'll have to make do with Google Translate... Going over the various squadrons at the moment....nice to see the VF-11 getting some coverage....it's really a nice, clean-looking fighter!

Not sure about the duet, but the "Friend Like Me" sequence seems all Will Smith.... I am feeling a bit better about the movie on this new trailer...hope this works out for Disney -

It took 3hrs just to get "into" Toy Story Land when it first opened last July at WDW. That doesn't even include the wait times for the actual rides. We complain about PO madness...try getting fastpasses for either the Smugler's Run ride or the Rise of the Rebellion ride on the day they go up. Oh and you will need to choose one or the other! LOL!
