The Disney parks are where the money is at for Disney....everything else is just to keep that going....whether the supporting product is good or bad...... Personally, if the show works for me, then I can just disregard the kind of "facts" and "inconsistencies" you bring up, because in the end, all those folks at the Star Wars Celebration and the millions of others who were not there...will keep the Disney money train going strong way easier than those who would think they can stop it... Anyways, it's not just Star Wars....of all the franchises Disney owns, Star Wars is the only one that has somewhat been dissapointing to me as of late...but I still, so far, have been enjoying their animation, live-action remake films (except the recent Dumbo, but the kids liked it and frankly that is the intended audience) and their Marvel stuff....

As K2-SO might point out....Only 1.5789% of the fandom will give a sheit about that "fact".....you can't stop the Disney Star Wars juggernaut with mere logic....

TFA How can we improve the awesomeness of the first 2 Death Stars? With an even bigger Death Star of course!! TLJ That opening scene from ANH with the Star Destroyer chasing down the Rebel ship was epic.....surely extending that concept for an entire movie would blow the fan’s minds!!! TROS Remember how cool it was to see a Super Star Destroyer rusting away on Jakku? Let’s do the same thing but replace it with the Death Star! The fans will eat that sheit up!!!!

I believe the recent SW comics already did that....and they are part of the canon now.... So totally possible... There has to be some new threat introduced.....otherwise what's the point of what follows Ep 9? And I am sure something follows Ep. 9....there always has to be light vs dark....otherwise you have Macross without VF's!

Rise of Skywalker....so much for letting the past die... Disney has to keep that Skywalker namesake/legend alive into the "new generation" of SW fans because it would impossible to keep them half-interested in the franchise if it is just based on Rey, Finn, and Poe... Can't wait for that long-forgotten Skywalker clan of warriors to be made famous for being the first "Force weilders" during some flashbacks in the KOTOR trilogy!!! The Skywalkers will be like the Starks. And maybe the Palpatines will be another clan competing for the Kyber Throne!

JJ probably dipped into the SW EU well again to finish up the Skywalker saga... I honestly wouldn't mind if they brought back Darth Sideous....or even revealed Snoke was Darth Plageious and brought him back too...LOL

Seems like a good deal for $6.99 a month. The three Star Wars shows alone are probably worth it. As long as they are well done I suppose. Don't care much for the Marvel stuff, but the Pixar stuff seems good too. Plus the Lady and the Tramp movie should be OK....I assume it is a "live-action" version...plus who doesn't like dogs? -

Just wacthed it with the kids... it is definitely one that I would have been fine streaming at some later point... Like most Tim Burton's films...everything goes to sh!t in the third act before things get straightened out....cute ending, but no idea how they get a part two out of it without going straight to video...but I'm sure Disney is already working on it! I came out of this movie thinking it was mostly a live-action Disney film based on the "Dumbo ride" more than anything else....with just a few things thrown in from the animated classic just because the material was available (unlike the POTC and HM movies)....heck...they even threw in Timothy...sort of... Unless you are taking your kids to this movie....I would suggest to just wait and stream it...

I know there were some unproduced M7 mechs from the Micro Macross line. I wouldn't doubt a gold chrome VF-19 kai was considered. Perhaps you saw one in a magazine or advertisement? Besides the Bandai 1/65 VF-17S....the only other gold-chromed release I can think of was the Takatoku "Block System" VF-1J Hikaru release...
