    Yeah...that was sort of the expectation when they were boasting about getting their own dedicated factory to produce their stuff....growing pains perhaps? But based on their performance ever since moving production to their own manufacturing facility, it seems their problems have gotten worse....their explanation for the VF-1S Rick debacle was that a batch of confirmed QC'd bad assembly pieces somehow got mixed back into the batch that was marked for shipping...it seems like it is one screw up after another....I'm hoping that the upcoming Regult, Glaugs and Destroids fare better....since they don't transform maybe they will be easier to assemble...fool's hope, I know....

    ...and even at those limited runs....some of those releases still had QC issues......... VF-1J Standard.....right foot installed backwards VF-1S "Rick"....complete mess...bad joints and tampo mess.... And this is just from the recent releases......I have yet to receive a KC VF-1 tat did not have some issue, even if minor.....the VF-1 Max and Millia came close but not 100% I would be surprised if these "God of Fire" VF's are free of any QC issues...they can't even handle the QC on small runs..... And the fact that their "new" Fast Packs do not fit securely in all three modes will probably disappoint some "transformer" collectors even if the release is free of QC issues...

    Was looking to get a recap of the events that occur before Amazon's Rings of Power show...found these....and the series now sort of makes less sense to me...are they combining events from multiple "Ages"? And seems the gems stolen by Morgoth are more or less the rings of their time....but the "good" versions? After watching these videos, I can see why the show is so slow....it has no choice but to establish so many characters, but there are so many original characters to begin with that it just makes things even more convoluted to be inventing and introducing new ones at the same time....also, I don't think the casual LOTR fan (basically anyone whose only LOTR experience is via the Jackson films, I include myself in this group) can be expected to follow the current series without some pre-Prequel backstory...

    Way too many character intros with hardly any development so far to care enough to keep track of any of them...for now, I'm just following Galadriel and am interested in finding out who comet man is...other than that, I find myself kind of bored and not liking any of the other characters, especially the not-Hobbits...

    What I think is cool about this is that the original Takatoku Macross toys always featured boxart that never matched what the included toy actually looked like, with the henkeis probably being the worst (best?) offenders....for this KO...life truly imitates the fugly art!

    I'm thinking the "gift" should be a KitzConcept first-ever issue-free release for these "loyal fans"... Hope it's free of faulty or missing tampo, busted joints, immovable joints, broken parts, un-glued parts, faulty parts, parts installed backwards, parts that break upon first handling, and other QC issues... Best for KC to start praying to the God of Fire that at least 95% of the now 2600+ pieces are QC free when they ship out the door....I have a bad feeling that the majority of these new "loyal fans" won't be as forgiving as Macross fans if something goes wrong....again...     As part of the most recent exibits of all things Macross...the Macross 40th Anniversary Exhibit at the Osamu Tezuka Memorial Hall....several "Osamu Tezuka" themed Macross merch was made available.....the new exhibit also included a new Mikimoto illustration... The illustration made it's way to a few items, but I was most interested in the "Towel".... Incidentally, it is more of a fleece blanket than an actual "towel"....

    Just watched the first 2 episodes....really slow moving but seems there is a lot they are trying to setup before things start getting more interesting.... I'll go for the ride for the entire run...already paying for it anyways...but between TRoP and HotD...HotD is currently in the lead for me in terms of entertainment value....

    I'd be curious if KC ever sold 1888 pieces of any of their "canon" VF's? Hope they can produce one that is free of QC issues....this release probably has more eyes on it than usual, which won't help them if they produce another VF-1S "Rick Hunter"....
