I bought a 1/48 Hikaru VF-1S and a super/strike parts set from him through Amazon before they got expensive. Didn't have any problems.

Oh? The armor can't be removed? I was thinking of buying an armored Alto, and the super parts, and then I figured I'd have the ability to display it as vanilla, super, and armored. Guess I need a new plan.

I figured they were on the way, I just didn't think they'd be announced three days after my 1/48s arrived. The only thing that really bugs me that much about the 1/48s is that the shoulders stick out so much in fighter mode. The canopy shape is a minor annoyance as well. Other than that I love the size and detail of the 1/48s.

NO! I just bought 1/48 M&M. They arrived this week. I also applied the stickers, likely ruining their value... I would have waited, but I already had a Hikaru VF-1S in 1/48. I figured it'd be silly to have 2/3 of my collection in a different scale (I see no need to get any other VF-1s, maybe a VF-25 though). Sigh. Enjoy your better-looking fighter mode and better arm articulation, 1/60 v2 fans.
