    Thanks I saw someone here do it before and thought I'd try the same. A very cheap poseable stand alternative. Can't complain And I agree with that album thing. Flickr's good. It's free and you get like 1TB of space.

    Got some aluminium wires and turned them into some stands. Happy with how it turned out. Here's with the wire cropped out.

    Agree. I think too that the way this works will be the same like the YF-29. So now's the best time to get it. Hope those that haven't gotten theirs yet manages to get one.

    It's not confirmed. It's just speculation. Considering cdjapan managed to open 28 (maybe more?) orders, it could mean that there are more being produced. Keep checking online retailers. I'm sure more will pop out before release and will sell out quick after.

    Always thought that the tornado parts looked weird. Never was a fan of it. Glad I'm not alone.

    1. Since Yamato is gone. There is no way to get an official shoulder me thinks. Maybe you could try asking other members. Might be a longshot. 2. It might require some sanding if I'm not wrong. Else, it's fine. Many ppl have used it before. 3. Don't think so.

    @wmcheng, Awesome weathering and great photos.. I hope to one day get a light tent too so I can start taking some better pictures.. @saburo, Needless to say, great photo. Even your quick shots beats some of our best shots here.

    The only regret I have was not buying Macross when the V2's were just rolling out. I still remember that I could have gotten the 1S Max or the 1S Low Vis when it just came out and that was about $100 a piece. I decided to not buy and save my money even though I could afford it as I was only a junior college student then. Also at that time, the VF-1s weren't so important to me to collect. No income. Still wished I had jumped and gotten at least the low vis.. But now, starting late last year, I've started collecting after deciding to rewatch Macross sometime last year. At least I came in at a good time where all the reissues are coming.. Happy to say I have most of the valks that I wished to have before. Just missing a 0S!

    ^ I remember seeing that somewhere in this thread too. This one's said to be Arcadia's first general release after all the made to orders before not counting the 1J. That's what someone here said too. I don't read Japanese so I could be wrong.

    Cause priorities. We (at least I) don't have infinite funds or a steady income (college student). So I just get what I want and love. Indeed every single one of them is cool and you'll want all of them. Not sure if there're dubbed versions of 7, Frontier and Zero. But there is a dubbed version of Plus. It's a friendly community. As to the coolest/neatest figures. That's up to personal preference really. For example, some like the designs of Frontier but some don't. Hard to say. Individual tastes.

    Welcome to MW NOD. For a 5-year-old to take such great care of his toys is a pretty great thing imo. Most 5-year-olds usually play and smash their stuff. Heck, even olders ones might do that too. You've got a collector in the making there. Great haul. I saw your post on the FS thread. Glad everything worked out for you. 280 shipped for 25G + supers is a great deal despite the panic you had to go through.

    Congrats no3ljm. I don't have one myself. Don't know if I will but indeed the VF-4 is an amazing piece to have. Always has been said to be the best Yamato had to offer and I think it is too. Beautiful bird. Needs pics!

    No worries. We're all here to enjoy valks. Understandable that it can get frustrating if you get something that isn't too accurate. Especially with the amount that we pay for these now.
