Arcadia and needs to link up with whatever company does the tampo and panel lining for he excellent 1/144 Tomytec VF-1 kits. Those are the absolute pinnacle of sharp detail work IMHO. If Arcadia could blow me away like those kits do, I'd pay their "premium finish" price....probably.

Hey guys, making my way through the Star Blazers/Yamato 2199 Blu Ray's (great show so far) , but can anyone tell me if there's a 5.1 audio track on the discs? I haven't been able to figure out how to switch to it if there is. I'm an AV guy, so this isn't a newb question, but I can only find the 2.0 track.

I might actually bite on this as this is one of the the few 1:60's v2 I don't own one of..Just not a huge DYRL color scheme fan, but if Arcadia tampo's it up..hmmm???

Finished the Vf-31 kit today. Not one drop of glue. This thing locks together SUPER tight in fighter mode. I'm amazed, you can swoosh it around and shake it, nothing rattles or pops off. I would never say it's a replacement for the DX, but for 30 bucks, it ain't bad. Don't know if I'll try a transformation or not. Maybe later, gonna ponder a cool custom paint scheme to do on it.

This guy finally came in from Japan. Apparently there has been a lift of the ban of Star Wars Bandai kits as of the new year I guess, as several online model places have new stock, so that's a good thing, they'll be easier to get now! Bad news for our wallets... LOL

Great tips! Thanks for the help! Probably gonna go with fighter mode, but I'll have to... attempt... to transform it at least once.. LOL.. just so I can say I did. Also, might actually paint in in a low vis paint scheme or something different once I get it together, we'll see... not wild about the Delta schemes other than Messer. Doing this more for fun than an actual serious build. Just something to do while it's cold.
