  1. Here's some more pics from the new June 2004 issue of Hobby Japan. This still appears to be the old sculpt, as the promised modifications to the fugly hips have obviously not been made yet. Graham
  2. And the last one for tonight. Graham
  3. And some more. Graham
  4. Here's the pics of the custom Shin type VF-0D. Larger (and more) scans will be going up in the MW magazine section over the weekend. Graham
  5. Here's some more screen shots from episode # 4, as well as the first look at the DVD cover. Great cover IMO. Wonder if it means Nora gets a new identical SV-51? Graham
  6. Here's the first black and white and color line-art of the Octos from episode # 3. A larger version of this scan whill be going up in he MW magazine section over the weekend. Graham
  7. I'm still not allowed to say what it was, but unfortunately, it was cancelled already I think it was felt that there was not a large enough fan base, i.e they wouldn't sell enough units to make it worthwhile proceeding. Graham
  8. Don't think I would ever get a tattoo. If others want them fine, just not my thing. Graham
  9. No, no, no. I do not want Yamato to release the VF-1 in 1/100 scale. We have enough VF-1 toys already. Another line of VF-1 TV and DYRL varients in yet another scale would just be too much, because we all know that Yamato wouldn't just release only one 1/100 VF-1 toy, they would release all the different head/color varients all over again.....arghhhhhhhhhh! If Yamato are going to switch their focus to 1/100 scale, I would much rather they concentrate on other VFs that have not been released as toys yet such as the VF-4, VA-3M, VF-5000B, VF-22S, VF-17D/S, VF-3000 etc. Graham
  10. The new June 2004 issue of Hobby Japan features an 18 page Macross section, including a great conversion of the Hasegawa VF-0S kit to Shin's VF-0D. I'll try and get scans of the VF-0D up later today and get the whole section scanned in during the weekend. Graham
  11. Always thought the Zeong was a big skirt wearing sissy Graham
  12. That's the million dollar MW slogan. LOL and most often asked about the Low Vis. Graham
  13. As much as I used to like Votoms, I do feel the Scopedog design is starting to look a little dated. If Yamato wants to make a military mecha toy, I'd much rather they made a Tactical Armor (Gasaraki) or Armor Shrike (Blue Gender) toy. Graham
  14. So they intend to make a whole line? I pressume so. It would be a bit silly of them to go to all that expense of design and tooling just to release only one version. And with Votoms, there are like a gazillion variants of the basic ATM-09 scopedog. Graham
  15. The Leg FAST Packs on the VF-0S are supposed to hold extra fuel and also each pack contains 24 micro-missiles. You can see the three hexagonal exit ports for the micro-missiles on each pack (two at the front and one aft), so pressumably each of the three launchers hold 8 micro-missiles. The leg FAST pack is also supposed to be able to hold a spare magazine for the gunpod, but it's not clear if this is in addition to the fuel and micro-missiles or whether it replaces one of them. The Macross Compendium has the following to say: - "two atmospheric combat super parts (micro-missile launcher/conformal tanks with twenty-four Raytheon Erlikon GH-30B I/IR-guided micro-missiles each) mounted on leg/engine pods. The super part is also capable of storing spare magazine for the gun pod". Graham
  16. The Yamato Scopedog is looking nice, as well it should given the amount of time it's been in development (2+ years) I think this thing has actually been in developnment longer than the YF-19FP and has gone through at least one total redesign. Oh well, I doubt I'll buy the first release, which will probably just be a basic Scopedog. I'll wait for Yamato to release a Red Shoulder Custom, with all the add on weapons. Graham
  17. Wow, that's cool. I would have loved that as a kid when I was into Star wars Figures. Graham
  18. I bought the standard R2 DVD, not really interested in the extras. Graham
  19. Yup, the VB-6 is canon. the events of the VF-X2 PS game are part of the official chronology. Looking forward to the Konig Monster, but judging from the pics it's obvious that we are still a fair way from production. Graham
  20. I'd agree with the majority, the YF/VF-19. Graham
  21. IIRC, from what little we know about the new series, it's going to feature combining (not transforming robots), will have young teenage pilots and the story will feature an environmental theme. I'm guessing it's going to basically be about a bunch of tree-hugging, angst-ridden prepubescent kiddies out to save the world while blowing crap up in giant super robots, i.e sounds like something to avoid. Let's hope I'm wrong. Graham
  22. Nice, I'll add it to the MW custom toy gallery at the weekend. Graham
  23. Very, very, very old news. The game was released in October 2003 and has been discussed to death in the MW games forum. Graham
  24. Very nice. Once it's finshed I hope you can suppy some pics for teh MW Custom Toy Gallery. Graham
  25. Wm, as this kits seems to have given you a bit of trouble, do you think you will also build the two-seat VF-0B when it is released? Just curious, and it would be nice to see the 'S' & 'B' next to each other. I do understand it might be a bit boring for you though building what is essentially the same kit, except for the head and cockpit. Graham
