  1. So can anybody identify what the images on the cover of the book are? Graham
  2. Actually, you don't really need the ability to read Japanese to order from Amazon.jp as they have pages in English for entering your order details (click on the English buton at the top of the page). Of course the item descriptions are still in Japanese though. I've been ordering stuff from them for ages without problem, and I don't read a word of Japanese. Graham
  3. I thought the first pic looks like Hikaru and Minmay. Graham
  4. MwHaHaHaHaHaHa Liked that so much I've put it as my member title. Graham
  5. Me . Never played the game. Graham
  6. Heh, for some reason, I couldn't stop laughing when I read this. Yeah, I reckon we're in for a long quiet period again. Graham
  7. Looks like a bastard child of a SIG 551, HK XM-8 and an M4. Lots of thread necromancy today. We must all be bored . Graham
  8. Bah, by all accounts they were never really lovers or lesbians anyway, it was all just a publicity stunt, which the gullible masses fell for. As for me, I could never stand their out of tone screeching and always turned down the volume when they were on the radio. But hey, what do I know I'm just an old fart who can't stand most modern music and mostly listens to stuff from the 70s/80s . Graham
  9. Actually, I also love the old Yoshiyuki Takani box art on the old 1982-3 Imai and Arri Macross kits. More recently in the late 1990's Takani also did the wonderful box art on the Wave 1/72 Mac 7 kits (best VF-17 battroid illustration ever IMO). I've got both of Takani's art books and they are worth picking up if you can find them. Yuji Kaida (of 1/55 VE-1 & VT-1 box art fame) also did some beautiful box art on 4 of the old Bandai 1985 Macross kits. These are some of the hardest Bandai Macross kits to find. And of course Tenjin's box art on the Hasegawa Macross kits is mind-blowing. I've stated many times on these forums, that if Hasegawa were to release a book of Tenjin's Macross art, printed on high quality glossy paper, I would buy it in a heart beat. Graham
  10. I think it's pretty neat that according to the Gunota update of January 24, a recent poll in Japan of 500,000 people lists Lunamaria Hawke as second place in the ranking of the top 30 favorite female Gundam characters. Go Lunamaria! Graham
  11. Next without skirt . Graham
  12. , i guess we will have to wait for them to come up with a way to have Gff gashapon figure, where you can remove/ replace this or that. Blue?,, I thought it was going to be pink or black to match with the uniform Oh I got a way you can remove it,,, But you will have to rub her butt until the panties disappear By the way any pic? Okay, here's the pics of my Lunamaria Hawke figure. First with skirt.......... Graham
  13. It's a Takatoku toy of a mecha from the anime Orguss. One of the rarer Orguss toys as well. It's nothing to do with Macross, despite the auction title. Graham
  14. Heh, saw this thread title and it immediately made me think of this quote from Aliens: - Dietrich: "Looks like some kind of secreted resin." Hicks: "Yeah, but secreted from what?"- Haterist, I'd suggest getting the Pulse Rifle from the armory and checking your house for any signs of Alien infestation . Oh, and lets just hope you don't get any sudden chest pains. Graham
  15. How about some rear visibilty so the pilots can check their 6. Why is it that most sci-fi fighters have no rear visibilty? Graham
  16. Just picked up the new March 2005 issues of Hobby Japan magazine & Dengeki Hobby magazine. Unfortunately, there's no new pics of the Yamato 1/100 VF-0S. In fact, neither magazine has anything about Macross at all, zip, zilch, nada. IIRC, this is the third month in a row now that there has been no updates on the Yamato 1/100 VF-0S, which leads me to suspect that Yamato might have quietly decided to drop it. I'm guessing that one of two things may have happened: - 1) The prototype scrulpt was so badly received based on the older pics in the hobby mags and as seen at trade shows, that based on negative market feedback Yamato figured it just would not sell well enough and it was not worth the expense of starting from scratch to make an all new sculpt. 2) Yamato has taken so long developing this toy, that their licencse with Big West to produce Macross Zero toys may have already expired! I'm reasonably certain that Big West toy licenses last for 2 years. And the 1/100 VF-0S toy has been in development for 2 years already, so it is conceivable that the license could have already expired and Yamato figures it is just not worth renewing it. Let's hope I'm wrong and the toy is still going to be released some day. Graham
  17. Yep, please post all TF stuff in the pinned topic at the top of the page. Graham
  18. I have some of the Great Mechanics books and they are good, but too small and the main focus is Gundam. I really want an A4 size (or larger) 'This is Animation' style Macross Zero book to be able to fully appreciate Kawamori's line art. Oh well, perhaps a Macross Zero book will be released a few years later. And nice to see you posting again Seichi. I thought you had disappeared . Graham
  19. You mean a pic of the figure or a pic of me rubbing her butt? Graham
  20. Pics anybody? Graham
  21. I'd rate it as a good, fun action-comedy-sci fi movie. Woth seeing for Milla in her white bandage costume. I've been meaning to pick up the DVD for a while now, just haven't got round to it yet. Graham
  22. I like the second two pics, but the first one doesn't really look much like her. Graham
  23. The kneeling pose gashapon figure I have of Lunamaria (with removeable skirt) has her wearing dark blue panties (unfortunately not removeable ) Graham
  24. But if just one DVD gets copied, then the terrorists win. Can we afford to let that happen? Doesn't god also kill a kitten each time a DVD gets copied as well? Graham
  25. I wanna see those pics. Graham
