  1. +1 for Yoko Kanno. Graham
  2. If a new Macross TV series, OVA or movie is ever made, I'd like to see Kawamori responsible for the mecha designs of course, but not for the story, unless he's willing to drop all mystical and tree-hugging elements. And it would be great to have Mikimoto back on character design duties as well. Graham
  3. The 4 slits on the VF-0S's backback are a completely different size and shape compared to those on the 1/48, so the 1/48 FAST Packs will not fit. Not to mention that they would be completely out of scale anyway. Graham
  4. Technically, it is possible. But a VF-0D would require a lot of new tooling, which would be very expensive. Graham
  5. To set the record straight, as far as I'm concerned AgentONE is permanently banned. He is no longer welcome on Macrossworld. If Macross Nexus wants him, they are welcome to him. He has been given plenty of chances over the years, but each time he comes back, he just seems to get more disruptive and insulting, with little in the way of positive contributions via his posts. Basically, he has made it impossible for people on this forum to hold an intelligent discussion on Macross 7 with it turning into a 'Macross 7 is gay' or 'I hate Macross 7' fest. Also, despite the many updates to the main site this year, AgentONE is overly critical to the point of being insulting. While constructive criticism is welcome AgentOne has crossed the line with his constant personal attacks. The straw that finally broke the camel's back was his comments in this thread. I actually like AgentONE and think he would be a great guy to go out partying with, but he's just stepped over the line of what is acceptable behavior on these forums one time too many. The current 999 day suspension was just a temporary measure and will be changed to a permanent ban once I have a couple of minutes to log into the admin control panel. Graham
  6. Great, can't wait to see the toys. Graham
  7. Fanastic looking work Cap't. Graham
  8. Ha, that means more for me then. You are missing out on a great toy you know! I wouldn't call slightly loose knee and elbow swivel joints a disaster. Graham
  9. Even with slightly loose knee swivel joints, I find it no problem to pose the toy in GERWALK mode. Graham
  10. I have no idea what a MUNNY is. Damn pop culture and youth of today, always coming out with these new terms. Graham
  11. I think I should lock this thread and then use all the info everyone has posted to blackmail you all. Graham
  12. I'm a big fan of Blue Gender. I also wanted the OSTs. I managed to track down one of them, #3 IIRC a couple of years ago, but could not find the other 2 at a reasonable price anywhere. Actually, I did manage to find one guy who was willing to sell them, but at about US$120 per disc, which was out of my budget. I also wish Yamato, Takara or Bandai would make some Blue Gender mecha toys. Definitely one of my all time favorite animes and very underrated IMO. Graham
  13. Just in case my wife is reading this, I swear I have spent no more than US$20 on any one single item...........honest! Graham
  14. From what I've heard from Yamato, it seems to be selling well in Japan with customer feedback mostly positive. Graham
  15. How do you photographically confirm the magnet polarity being reversed, genius? 397313[/snapback] You could post a short video showing the magnets repelling ecah other. Graham
  16. The VF-0 has skinny upper arms in the anime and lineart. Also, it's very unfair putting a 1/60 VF-0S next to a 1/48 VF-1 and saying the arms look skinny, as you are comparing different scales of toys. A more fair comparison would be putting the 1/60 VF-0S nxt to a 1/60 scale VF-1 and then comparing the arms. Graham
  17. Which Wave VF-17 kit, the 1/72 vinyl original with metal hands, the 1/72 vinyl reissue with plastic hands or the 1/100 resin with FAST packs? Graham
  18. Because that is where there is a seam line between the upper and lower halves of the nose section. That would mean the Kite would need to be printed in two halves and I guess they don't want to take the chance of the two printed halves not matching up exactly. Graham
  19. Will buy these and get rid of the SE boxset. Graham
  20. For me it was the Tampo printing on the intakes and gunpod that really made my day. All the extra Tampo printing really surprised me, as my pre-production sample only had the Tampo printing on the tails and heatshield. Graham
  21. Thanks wolfx. I've corrected all those mistakes. Graham
  22. You are correct, I'll get that changed. That's what I get for trying to write a review too quickly Graham
  23. Just added my review of the Yamato 1/60 scale VF-0S toy. Better pics to be added later. Didn't have access to my good camera today. Enjoy! Graham

  25. I've got a huge project going on at work at the moment, so don't have much time to post. Anyway, I've had an early preproduction sample for a few months, but just got a production version today. One of the yellow antenna on the tail fin tips was bent in the box, but I managed to straighten it out by hand, without breaking it. haven't had time to transform it yet. More comments later. Graham
