  1. Great, can't wait to see the toys. Graham
  2. Fanastic looking work Cap't. Graham
  3. Ha, that means more for me then. You are missing out on a great toy you know! I wouldn't call slightly loose knee and elbow swivel joints a disaster. Graham
  4. Even with slightly loose knee swivel joints, I find it no problem to pose the toy in GERWALK mode. Graham
  5. I have no idea what a MUNNY is. Damn pop culture and youth of today, always coming out with these new terms. Graham
  6. I think I should lock this thread and then use all the info everyone has posted to blackmail you all. Graham
  7. I'm a big fan of Blue Gender. I also wanted the OSTs. I managed to track down one of them, #3 IIRC a couple of years ago, but could not find the other 2 at a reasonable price anywhere. Actually, I did manage to find one guy who was willing to sell them, but at about US$120 per disc, which was out of my budget. I also wish Yamato, Takara or Bandai would make some Blue Gender mecha toys. Definitely one of my all time favorite animes and very underrated IMO. Graham
  8. Just in case my wife is reading this, I swear I have spent no more than US$20 on any one single item...........honest! Graham
  9. From what I've heard from Yamato, it seems to be selling well in Japan with customer feedback mostly positive. Graham
  10. How do you photographically confirm the magnet polarity being reversed, genius? 397313[/snapback] You could post a short video showing the magnets repelling ecah other. Graham
  11. The VF-0 has skinny upper arms in the anime and lineart. Also, it's very unfair putting a 1/60 VF-0S next to a 1/48 VF-1 and saying the arms look skinny, as you are comparing different scales of toys. A more fair comparison would be putting the 1/60 VF-0S nxt to a 1/60 scale VF-1 and then comparing the arms. Graham
  12. Which Wave VF-17 kit, the 1/72 vinyl original with metal hands, the 1/72 vinyl reissue with plastic hands or the 1/100 resin with FAST packs? Graham
  13. Because that is where there is a seam line between the upper and lower halves of the nose section. That would mean the Kite would need to be printed in two halves and I guess they don't want to take the chance of the two printed halves not matching up exactly. Graham
  14. Will buy these and get rid of the SE boxset. Graham
  15. For me it was the Tampo printing on the intakes and gunpod that really made my day. All the extra Tampo printing really surprised me, as my pre-production sample only had the Tampo printing on the tails and heatshield. Graham
  16. Thanks wolfx. I've corrected all those mistakes. Graham
  17. You are correct, I'll get that changed. That's what I get for trying to write a review too quickly Graham
  18. Just added my review of the Yamato 1/60 scale VF-0S toy. Better pics to be added later. Didn't have access to my good camera today. Enjoy! Graham

  20. I've got a huge project going on at work at the moment, so don't have much time to post. Anyway, I've had an early preproduction sample for a few months, but just got a production version today. One of the yellow antenna on the tail fin tips was bent in the box, but I managed to straighten it out by hand, without breaking it. haven't had time to transform it yet. More comments later. Graham
  21. Ha, looks like my prediction may be correct! Graham
  22. OK, I'll try and focus on the Apaches. Graham
  23. Tried that, but to take out the enemies that are attacking the helicopter, you still have to leave the helicopter to pursue them and shoot them down. Even if it only takes a few seconds to chase and destroy the attacking enemy, in that time the helicopter gets shot down. Maybe, I'm just getting too old and slow. Graham
  24. It's not fair to call that a downside. In the anime, the hands do not retract, so the toy is 100% accuracte to the anime in this regard. Graham
  25. Help! I'm stuck on mission # 15, the one where you have to rescue Nagase. Just how do you stop the rescue helicopter from getting shot down? I must have played this mission 20 times so far using many different combinations of planes. No matter how many enemy planes and ground units I destroy before locating Nagase, I still can't keep the helicopter from getting shot down. Is there a trick to completing this mission? Getting so frustrated that I'm close to giving up on this game. Graham
