  1. I think the Vajra have either captured or destroyed the main Galaxy colony ship. In the Gattai sub of episode # 6 at 09.20, you see the recording of the transmission from the Galaxy captain(?) and in the Gattai sub he says: "The damn bugs have taken Mainland! Please! Someone!" At first I thought this was a translation error by Gattai, as they are AFAIK, the only fansub group to use the word "Mainland" in this scene, but then I listened closely, just concentrating on what the character is saying and he clearly says "Mainland" in English. I'm guessing that Mainland is the name of the main colny ship in the Galaxy fleet. Graham
  2. Comes with Fast Packs, clear display stand (very cool) & plyons to attach a fold booster, but does not include the actual fold booster. Graham
  3. I really hope we are going to see some VF-171 action at some point, but I have a nasty feeling we may not. Probably a budget thing. Sucks, cus' with no air time, the chances of seeing a VF-171 toy diminish. Heck, even the cannon fodder VF-11C got much more screen time in Macross 7. Graham
  4. She has breasts, they're just small. Haven't watched the raw yet, but from that screen cap, the Destroid looks similar to Zero's Cheyenne. Graham
  5. Heh, chrono's complained about everything. Graham
  6. It has the correct style thrusters in the feet. Graham
  7. We haven't heard any details of what the 1/100 line is going to include, so I'm placing all my hope for a VF-171 in that scale. Graham
  8. Yeah, same here. Having young kids really kills any time for making models. Graham
  9. Here's how I predict Klan will die. She'll end up being killed by her own breasts (AKA pendulous udders). Ya' see she'll be out jogging one day, and said udders will be bouncing up and down, only they bounce up too high and knock her out cold. She then suffocates to death, smothered by her own pendulous udders. Graham
  10. Actually, I loved that shot of Sheryl in ep 4. I think she looks super cute. Definitely better than any Major Kusanagi! Graham
  11. Interesting. I can see the Vajra being transformable as it just transforms from standing mode to err........bug mode and I guess flying bug mode as well. But I'm still wondering about the VF-25 shown, whether it is transformable or not. Graham
  12. What dodgy animation? I don't see no steenkin' dodgy animation. Especially in this thread (thinly veiled warning). Graham
  13. From the current state of development, I'd estimate that these won't be released until at leasst August, but more likely September or later. Graham
  14. Check out the Frontier model thread in the model forum for more pics of the Gerwalk and Fighter modes. Graham
  15. Interesting. First pics of the Fighter and Gerwalk modes. I definitely think these are not transformable. My bet is on three kits in one box. One kit per mode. The fighter looks fatter around the nose/canopy area than I thought it would. Graham
  16. I love that the SMS bar in their rec room is always shown as being really well stocked with alcohol. My kinda place......LOL Graham
  17. Well, it's not for nothing that we commonly refer to them as Lobsters around here. It's obvious why Ozma licked his lips after knifing the red Vajra. He was loooking forward to some nice juicy lobster flesh for dinner. Graham
  18. Heh, this film was pretty much universally panned here in Hong Kong. Graham
  19. Red Vajra 1/72 scale model kit. Graham
  20. Nobody knows for sure yet. The sign behind the VF-25 shows three different modes, but whether that means it is variable or 3 kits in 1 box, we don't know yet. Graham
  21. New close-up pic as posted by MWer paper2k1 in the toy forum. Graham
  22. I guess that they are just drawn larger sometimes for dramatic effect. Or perhaps as they are 'living' weapons, you get different sizes of red Vajra, i.e. in different stages of growth. Graham
  23. According to a discussion we are having in the model forum currently, it looks like the Vajra shown in the pics may also be a 1/72 scale model kit as well. While I'd always thought the red Vajra are significantly larger than a VF-25, it appears that depending on which scene of the anime you view, they are only slightly larger. Graham
