  1. As we are back to talking Gundam again, here's my take. Hated: Original MSG, Z, ZZ, Turn A, G, X, Wing, SEED, Destiny, & 00. Liked: V & 0083 Stardust Memory (despite the whiney, overly angsty leads in 0083). Loved 08th MST, 0080 War in the Pocket & CCA. Graham
  2. I've been using BitTornado, but I'm wondering if there is any better software that anybody can recommend? Graham
  3. You guys have way too much free time. Graham
  4. But why is Klan kissing Alto's VF-25F battroid in that sketch? The picture would make more sense is she was kissing Mikhael's VF-25G battroid (completely different head type). Graham
  5. Damn, zero peers and zero seeds for the Shinsen ep 4. I'm never gonna get it at this rate Graham
  6. Stonewell Bellcom no long exisits as a separate entity. According to the Macross Compendium, Shinnakasu Heavy Industry and Stonewell Bellcom merged in 2012 to form Shinsei Industry. I do think the VF-25 looks like a Shinsei design. The VF-171 is almost certainly a General Galaxy design (unless General Galaxy were bought out sometime between 2045 and 2059). The mystery VF featured in the opening also looks more like a General Galaxy design IMO. Of course, by 2059, there may be some new players in the VF manufacturing business that we don't know about yet. Graham
  7. Even if we don't see much action from SMS in the next episode, I hope we do finally get to see the Galaxy's VF-171s in battroid mode defending the fleet. The VF-171 seriously needs some more air time. Graham
  8. I loved that we got more aerial shots of the inside of Island 1 at the start of this episode. Really agve a better idea of the size. It actually looks like a pretty nice place to live. Graham
  9. Wonder what's causing the delay with the AiA sub? They were pretty quick with the other episodes. Graham
  10. I have a feeling episode 6 won't have a lot of action, but I think episoode 7 will be action packed. This is just my guess, but I think episode 6 will consist mostly of more character development, especially for Alto, Sheryl and Ranka. I have a feeling we could be in for a very emotionally charged scene if Ranka confronts Alto and Sheryl about their kiss. Also, I think episode 6 will consist of a scene between (spoiler tag added for those that have not read the manga). I think that we won’t see the SMS ship launching until near the end of episode 6 and the episode will likely end on a cliffhanger with the SMS forces encountering a large force of Vajra attacking the galaxy fleet. Graham
  11. Yes, most of us here have watched it many, many times already. Graham
  12. The fact that the red Vajra has energy converting armor only strengthens the protoculture or Supervision army connection IMO. Energy converting armor was somthing that AFAIK, humanity reverse engineered from the ASS-1 wreckage, so it is very, very old tech by galactic standards. Graham
  13. Likely a much stronger/more efficient form of energy converting armor than on the Valks. Graham
  14. I'm also getting more of a scout/fast courier vibe from it, not a varible fighter. Graham
  15. May 10 is when the next issue of New Type magazine is published. The result of the VF-25 naming contest will be published in this issue. Graham
  16. Nope, the plane that folds in at the end of episode 5 is completely different to the mystery VF in the opening animation. Graham
  17. Cool! It's nice that we are getting some gashapons, but I just wish they weren't Super Deformed. Graham
  18. When you see and handle these figures in person, they are really nice. Pretty damn good articulation, that the photos don't really take advantage of. Graham
  19. Wow, first time to see that pic of a FP equipped VF-4. Anybody know which book or magazine it's from? Graham
  20. Honestly, what do you expect? It's only about half a day since it first aired on Japanese TV. Patience. Graham
  21. Yeah, I also doubt that Jeffrey Wilder is the owner or CEO or head honcho of SMS. He's probably just the local commander of the SMS forces that are stationed in the Frontier Fleet. I'm making an assumption here, but I'm assuming that there's more to SMS than what we have seen and just like modern day private military contractors that have operations all around the world, SMS may actually be a much larger organisation with operations going on all over the galaxy. Graham
  22. That is a really well done picture. I'm lovin' it. Graham
  23. Page 39. The Dekarucya Frontier page is back! I wish somebody would translate these. That's the end of chapter 5. Chapter 6 will be out on May 26th. Graham
  24. Page 36 and page 37, which is a double page spread. Hopefully, somebody with more time than me can edit them together. Graham
