  1. Looks much better & more detailed than expected.
  2. Cool, Alto in Ex-Gear as well!
  3. Yay, both VF-17 & VF-171! Also VF-25S with Armoured Pack. Little disappointed that the VF-2SS is shown without SAP.
  4. Google also didn't translate Ozma's name, so I found out which one it was by going to the Compendium as the have the Japanese characters for his name next to the English. I voted Ozma and Sheryl and also chose eps 7, 17 and 25. No idea what the box in the middle is for. Graham
  5. What fan book, is this something new, or the one that's been out a few weeks already? I think we need a thread dedicated to Frontier books, so we can keep track. Graham
  6. Somebody make sure to take a camera. What you will see is a very early sculpt and far from finished, but I think you will be pleased. Graham
  7. It was funny the first time. It's getting old now. Graham
  8. Off topic, but I never got the feeling that the Global was the last of the Macross Class. If anything, I got the impression from Frontier that many might have been produced for purposes other than colonization. Graham
  9. Of course, the rumor I heard could also be referring to a VF-25 repaint, like an 'All That VF' version or cannon fodder....who knows? I seriously doubt Bandai is going to do a complete redesign of the VF-25 DX toy. It's selling well, so why should they. Graham
  10. By new DX, I mean different VF, like VF-27 or vF-1717, not a resculpted VF-25. Graham
  11. Hoping the 1/100 VF-25F Alto will be out by next week. I've been told 25th Feb. Graham
  12. Anybody up for having a go at translating the VF-25 Super Pack info from the kit booklet. I'm dying to know more about the Super Pack stats. Graham
  13. I've heard that possibly a new DX, not just the Mac Quarter may be announced on 22. Let's hope the rumor is true. I hope we get a browning cannon fodder repaint. Graham
  14. For myself, I consider breakages an issue, but never let things like loose joints bother me, so I don't really consider them an issue. I've had a few breakages, just not that many, given the fairly large size Yamato collection I have. I always wonder how much of the problems are with the actual toy, or are due to the general ham-fistedness of the owners. I know many people who just should not be let near complex transforming toys, aimed at adult collectors. The only legitimate complaints I've personally had with Yamato Macross toys have been the hip breakages on the first VF-11B (The later FP release was flawless) and the disintegrating shoulders on the early VF-0 toys (later ones appear fine so far). Anyway, we are drifting off topic again. Let's get back to talking about the DX please. Graham
  15. You realise the 120 second figure is how long the ICS protecs the pilot for at 27.5G not how long the VF-25 can endure 27.5G.
  16. Gundam heads are bigger, but not that much bigger. Do you realise just how big a 60mm Gatling would be, let alone two?
  17. Don't worry, it is more posable, has no ugly exposed hinges and has correct size FPs. And of course the PT heatshield. The only thing Yamato forgot is the two spare gunpod magazines on the back of the shield, but they are now seeing if they can be added. Graham
  18. VE-1 looks just as nice (if not better than VT-1). Pure ownage, both of them. Graham
  19. Very cute girl and I definitely wouldn't kick her out of bed, but I'm not really seeing her as Sheryl though. Graham
  20. Could be worse. Random guy might ask you if you like Bobby! Graham
  21. Always thought it was silly how the head Gatlings of many Gundams are listed as being 60mm caliber. Given how big a 60mm Gatling would be, there is no way you would be able to fit two of them (or even 1) inside a Gundam's head. 20mm or 12.7mm would be far more realistic. Graham

    yamato's next move

Lots of stuff coming, some big (as may be displayed on 22 Feb), some small and possibly some stuff that was previously never thought possible.....wait and see (cross fingers, touch wood etc). Heh, Heh, next few years will be interesting times. Graham
  23. Disintegrating shoulder issues aside, most Yamatos are far tougher than most people give them credit for. It's sad that some people are actually afraid to transform them. Graham
  24. It's been ages since I watched Mospeada. I forget did they haul their Legioss and Tread around on a flatbed truck and only fly them when necessary, or were they flying all the time, just slowly, so the bikes could keep up? If they were flying all the time, even slowly, wouldn't they have been detected anyway, if the Inbit can detect HBT? Can the Inbit detect HBT? I can't rememeber. Graham
  25. Wonder if the DX Quarter toy will have a tiny (microscopic?) little VF-25 on the flight deck, they way it was often shown in the anime.
