    I had been hoping for a slight revision of the Andromeda with increased firepower; maybe it is, but carrying these weapons internally or something. You can't have a Dreadnought that's the flagship of the EDF that seems to be less armed than the original Yamato. I can recall during the Star Blazers days that the Andromeda featured automation as opposed to a larger crew. This was the only known advantage over older ships that I can remember the characters speaking of...

    They didn't waste any time introducing the Andromeda in the original series. By the way they keep showing the hidden wave motion blast in the preview, that could only come from the Andromeda I guess they're going to tease us with the arrival of that ship until well into the series. Bastids....

    Looks good to me as well. I just hope that they didn't dumb this movie down too much. GITS has always been the "smarter" anime to me, and seeing Scarlett in this movie is not a good sign. Don't get me wrong, I adore Scarlett J; but to me she's more of a T&A actor than a serious one. See what happens when you get older?

    WOW thank you for doing all of that work. I will say that if it hadn't been for the GX71 I would've picked up a Toynami unit eventually. It may be a froppy mess, but I would say it's better than my 80's Go Lion which has served me well but it's time has passed. Thanks again-cool poses and I didn't think that was possible from either versions...

    I still love the Matrix story, even with #3 included in the trilogy. Seems like the Matrix has been all but forgotten these days, which is a shame....

    Well, I finally got around to giving that series a watch. So far I'm liking it story-wise; however the Voltron design itself I am not a fan of. As usual, I think that most things from the 80's should be left as they were; there was nothing wrong with them to begin with. Go Lion's original incarnation will always be timeless to me...

    Speaking of the Madkings King of Beasts, does the GX-71 make the Madkings toy obsolete? Edit: I just checked out the Madkings toy and that thing is UGLY. I would even take the Toynami version over that thing any day. Someone correct me if I'm wrong...
