i have to say leave battle beyond the stars,a.i.,and ice pirates the hell alone.they don't deserve to be dissed.these movies do planet of the apes(tim burton)he needs to be burned alive for that one. minority report-which was overrrated crap and product placement hell. and the tacked on happy ending was like being anally raped by a rhino with herpes.spielberg watered down concepts perfected by scott and gilliam. heavy metal 2000(a movie hemmroid on steroids) macek must die! matrix and matrix revolutions which is to me a soulless rip-off of anime with characters that look like refugees from a gap ad and shallow story line. gods and generals(not sci-fi but sucked walrus nuts any way} garaga.i'll definitely think of more.

I'd reccomend classics like mazinger z,Galaxy Express,My youth in Arcadia(captain harlock movie},utena,orguss,megazone 23 pt1 and 2,night on the galactic railroad,and arion.

i have to say mikimoto's art is only saving grace of this anime.rest of it kinda hokey.the story's a good idea but the it's carried out isn't so great.And Istar looks hot as hell in short hair.put a vicky's secret thong and you gotta masterpiece.

i thought the ending was disapointing.i felt it was kind of cop-out.that it was all just a computer program.

i listen to 70's glam rock like david bowie,t-rex,iggy pop,mott the hopple,i also like the stones,beatles,bjork(i say if they made a live-action tenchi she'd make a kick-ass washu),radiohead,pink floyd(with syd barret),johhny cash(r.i.p.),willie nelson,cat stevens,the who,the pogues(irish punk band),u2(well zooropa was the last good album they did,after that they sucked killer whale balls),the kinks,and prince.

i'd say go for it.eve is sexy as all hell.she kicks minmay's bimbo ass any day.

yeah i agree the extra was dissapointing.i wish they talked more about the origianl manga and the interviews were longer with kawamori.i have to say zorndyke is possibly one of the best anime villian around because he's not the typical power mad type.he's just a worn out old man.and the ending leaves you thinking how will the mutants and humans adjust to the new world with their hatred for each other and verg was very well written ffor a non-human character.you could feel his pain in the last scene.

i'd also highly recommend heat guy j and blue sub no.6.and miyzaki's last really decent stuff was in the 80's with laputa and nausicca.he's gotten pretty bland and mononke was just just rehash of nausicca.

hi, ijust blue sub no.6.i loved it.the end was very sad.it had images and scenes that really stuck with you.the villian wasn't a stereotype and well it's moved differently than most anime storywise.kawamori is da bomb.i would like to know more about his involvemnet with gonzo.i know gonzo was a videogame company that helped with macross games at first.i would also like to see the original blue sub manga.if the premises in manga are the same as the anime,the manga was difinitely ahead of it's time when it was printed in the sixties. and another note macross is not macross to me if kawamori and mikimoto don't work on it together.plus ruled.macross 2 had alot of potential wasted.mikimoto's art is the only thing worth looking in that.

thanks noriko on that alien info.alien vs. preadator, they've been talking about that for years.is sigourney in it?she once said the reason she wanted the ripley character killed off in alien3 was because she didn't want to be part of it if went on too long and got hokey like the old frankenstein and dracula movies.she sited alien verses preadator as a n example.i kind of wished they made a fifth alien movie instead with characters on earth.i like alien ressurection,i feel it's a very underrated movie.i thought it was an improvement of part 3. oh my favorite movies are galaxy express 999 babe planet of the apes movies(the original not the sucky tim burton remake.i still wanna kick his sell-out ass} DYRL of course Fellini Satyricon city of the lost children fritz lang's metropolis metropolis{anime} yojimbo and uh let me think of some more.

gainax should definitely kick some marval ass in court.that's one thing i don't like about anime being mainstreamed especially in america where they copy in a such souless fashion.

how bout dis put star trek to sleep like the dying dog it is.next generation was too damn politically correct.the characters were dull and walked around like they had sticks up their butts and it got too preachy i remember on voyager that bill shatner wanna-be character was lecturing an alien about smoking,if iwas that alien i would say"man you better get off my planet and go frakk a tribble!!!!!!!"what was cool about the original the people acted more like real people and the stories were good and made you think so you'd get whatever message you want out of it.

yeah, i wonder what alien3 would've been if they stuck to gibson's script and ridley directed it.i would like to find out full details about why it folded like it did with them.also when in the hell is the blade runner special editions dvd is coming out.it suppose to come out last year when the anniversary happened.besides gladiator ridley's movies started to kind of well suck.especially black hawk down.it was just a feature length nfl 9-11 propaganda short.it was shallow as crap.the characters were fomulated typical war movie characters.and as for resurection i think it was underrated.at least it did something original with the concept.jean jenet is da film god of gods.

sounds neat.to the person who complained about brendan fraiser,think about tim burton directing with it starring nick cage.i'm so glad that never came to be. actually i auditoned for an extra role in shamalayian's new movie the woods which is about an eighteeneth century village surrounded by mythical animals.i live near philly where he is from and most of his movies are made.and micheal keaton as batman was still a shitty decision in my book.what was sad about that alec baldwin who was also in beetlejuice would have been a hell of a lot better.
