rarityraider
Hi All, I just can't wait to let you see my progress, please take a first look of the colored head shot. A little changes of the nose more pointy and smaller lips. How do you feel it? Cheers, Edited July 20, 2004 by rarityraider

ewilen
To be honest, you've captured the hair style, and overall it's a fine glamor picture. But it's not Misa in terms of either the pose or the features.
Beware of Blast
How do you feel it? Ah'm readay 4 luv. Very nice man. Show us more of yer Misa.
Keith
I agree with ewilen, it just looks too american comicbooky, and not enough like Misa. Perhaps if you enlarged the eyes a bit, and made the nose smaller. Something more styled like this: or this Edited July 22, 2004 by Keith
rarityraider
Maybe some body still don't like my style but I would complete this work. A shot of some more rendering from now:
Hikuro
I don't know why, but she kinda now reminds me of Cameron Diaz
bake_art
Beautiful! hmm.... should start checking the fanworks section more often these days...
ewilen
Again, I think it's good work, but I don't think it looks like Misa. You should definitely finish it, regardless of what I or anyone else has to say. I think it looks kind of like Kim-Basinger-as-Misa right now. Zero Enna
If Studio Nue would make a Live-Action DYRL, your Misa would be the basis to make the choice of her actress.
Knight26
I think it looks great, yeah the Bassinger comparisson is uncanny, kind of cool actually. BTW if you decide to do all the bridge bunnys like this do not use Hally Berry for Claudia, maybe Vivica A Fox, she might be a good Claudia. lol Edited July 22, 2004 by Knight26
Aurel Tristen
The artwork looks nice.... but she doesn't look Japanese at all. : \
bigkid24
He started out by saying that he was going for more of a Adam Hughes look rather than Mikimoto. I think, considering the style change, it's a great Misa. It IS very different from what we're used to but it's nice to change it up. Now get back to work with those colors! CoryHolmes
I like this a lot for the same reason I enjoy the Tommy Yune artwork: It's a modern, updating interpretation of the characters, not just another copy of the original style, which I find to be boring by this point in time. Thanks a lot, Perhaps, I'm an Aisan (HK people) want Western style more than always do the works similar to Japanese. But for most of you, America comic is very common of your life... Just my opinion regard to the difference of our culture. Edited July 23, 2004 by rarityraider

Amped
WOWzers!!! Nice job! I agree that it's nice to see somebody put their own personal spin on a beloved character... wether or not it emulates the original character design to the Nth degree, the quality & care you put into this artwork shows! BRAVO!!!
