Jennifer Garner and Natassia Malthe as Typhoid Mary. Jenny Garner in red. Yummy. Superhero Hype on Elektra Watch out for Spoilers there.... Also how popular of a character was she anyway in the comics? Daredevil was the first I heard of her and figured they made her up just for the movie. Isamu Atreides 86 Posted July 4, 2004 Author Share Posted July 4, 2004 i don't exactly know, but i think the secret ninja society called the Hand had a part in it. they're also the ones who gave Psylocke of the X-men her fighting powers and from time to time fight wolverine and DD. she was an original creation of Frank Miller during his DD run. CoryHolmes Posted July 4, 2004 Share Posted July 4, 2004 According to the DVD features for Daredevil, the character of Elektra in the movie was so well-received that the people in charge decided that while she was dying on the rooftop, she was revived in the ambulance ride to the hospital. That's how she was able to leave her cartouche on Matt's rooftop for the final scene in DD. Here's hoping to getting DD at least a guest-star bit in this movie. Marvel is having some trouble getting him to sign up for DD2, so even a cameo is a little out of the question. I have a really good feeling about this But, in the end, this Female Super Hero Movie will kick the poo out of the current female super hero movie... Electra has been pretty central to DD since the beginning and continues to play a big role, even if not directly. Frank Millar's run on DD sets it up nicely if I remember correctly. Electra DOES get killed but a magical ninja secret society called the Hand bring her back to life.
