Dominion Tank Police

There are a few animes that I can watch over and over and never get bored. Of course there is the different Macross series but the others are Mospeada, Gall Force, & Masamune Shirow's Dominion & New Dominion Tank Police.  I and a huge fan of Leona & her tank Bonaparte as well as the rest of the Tank Police. I collect anime cels, whenever I can find them, comics and figures. I was just wondering if there were any other Tank Police fans out there.

I still peruse through my old Dark Horse comic issues once in a while.  I remember having more fun reading Dominion than Man/Machine Interface and Orion.

Its been years since I had watched it but it is a fun series with over the top tank destruction =-)

I agree. I feel it could have run like Patlabor or You’re Under Arrest, over 40 episodes

It's funny, most of favorite animes involve comedy, and guns or cars like this one. My other favorites are The Dirty Pair, The Dirty Pair Flash, You're Under Arrest, Riding Bean, Gunsmith Cats, & eX-Driver,

Well you do what you like, guy makes enough of GiTS royalties that he really doesn't have to work. He just draws what he wants.

I feel that his earlier works were to find something that he liked and could sell, basically make his hobby his job. He just managed to strike it hard on his GiTS series. DTP was in the same universe, just prior iirc.
