No.  The black adapters are the ones that come with the AFC.  I flipped the Tamashii stand arm upside down so that the thicker peg connects to the adapter and the thinner peg connects to the base.

I’ve been eyeing the hayate armor parts for a long time. Finally scored one a few months back and had the chance to put it together today. Looks intimidating and I love it! Wish the legs are sturdier to hold up all that weight but it will have to do.

All pics taken using phone.  Post-processing mostly done with Google Snapseed.

The VFC VF-1 battroid have next to no articulation. Only the shoulders can swing back & forth, and that's about it.

The GNU-Dou VF-1 is pretty ok. No double joint at knees or elbows like most modern figures, but what it has not found on other VF-1 figures is the chest can rock side to side. Perhaps the Revoltechs can do it too, but I haven't played with them yet.

The DX VF-25F Armored is just about the only thing missing from collection, so the VF100 continues to fill the gap. Will Bandai do a Revival version? But I'm not enthusiastic of another full fat bundle release - just standalone armor would be great.

One of the best ideas to come out of Frontier:  taking the idea of the GBP set-up, but allowing it to be used in all three modes.

Always loved the concept, and shows how the Macross universe is progressing with Valk designs.

The YF-29B is my second ever DX Chogokin purchase years ago. Certainly a very busy-looking valk, perhaps until the 31 came along.

Forward to today, I find it weird no super parts ever made for it. But it could be canon to the game as I never played it...

I was planning to wait for 3Z to release one of these but not sure if /when that would ever happen and this was cheaper anyways so I finally got a 1/60 Max 1A to add to the collection:

 

And one of the main reasons I wanted one was because I had this suit waiting for it for years:

I assume the suit is a copy of Yamato's? But I may be wrong, apologies if so.

No worries, I was just wondering which you were talking about and good eye! It is the KO of the Yamato suit! And like I said, I was thinking of waiting for the possible 3Z release but after putting the suit on this figure, I realize it may not even fit the 3Z since it does really fit like a glove.

Wonder if anyone has tried fitting it or wants to try if they have either version of the suit and a 3Z valk?

Haha, I noticed that as I was reviewing the pics and someone else also pointed that out but too lazy to do a better setup or retake the pics so it can remain a fun easter egg.

Nice pics @Slave IV.  I like that the KO version doesn't have a huge zipper like the official version.  I need to dig mine out.  I also want one for my HMR.  Maybe I can get my wife to sew me one.

Uh, let's just say I am too scared to open it now, or ever. 

PF 19 is up there as one of the best valkyrie toys ever IMO. I've only seen it pop up on Mandarake a couple of times. It was 50k iirc but with the current exchange rate it's cheaper than when I got mine.
