1st Border Red Devil
Yea, JT does really good podcasts. Give it a chance even if you don't like the novels (or even Robotech).
Save
"Thought I'd drop by, figure you could use the company." JT has pulled himself up by his boot straps and has resumed a very personal mission; let's wish him well on his journey.
Jasonc
I listened to ep.0 yesterday, and it sounds very promising. Even if you don't like HG but you grew up with Robotech, it's a great show. None of the hoopla politics, none of the drama. Just good fun.
Gubaba
I kinda dislike the novels, but I definitely want to hear JT's take on them!
Hoptimus
Never read the books but seems like this is a cool project.
Jasonc
Never read the books but seems like this is a cool project. I never read all of them, just as a young kid, but even then, it may not be so much the novel content, then it is about JT's delivery. He makes it fun, and that's hard to do for a franchise that's spent most of its time in a crapper.
Zor Primus
I never read all of them, just as a young kid, but even then, it may not be so much the novel content, then it is about JT's delivery. He makes it fun, and that's hard to do for a franchise that's spent most of its time in a crapper. I did read them all...was in 10th grade at the time. Loved the dots the books connected from the animated series. And in many many ways, it remains better than the crap that's spewed out since 2005. Haven't had the chance to listen yet, but no worries JT...I will soon!
Zinjo
Outside of Yune's ego, makes a person wonder why they didn't try animating the books (naturally without the Macross element, due to IP infringment issues)??

Duke Togo
True story: I actually read End of the Circle way back in 1990.
mickyg
Wow, that book cover brings back memories! I consumed these books in my teens. Absolutely loved every bit of them. Like them or not, for me, the books are absolutely why I stayed interested in Macross.
Mommar
I'm with mickyg, I read all of these books in middle school and it definitely helped to keep my interest as I didn't live someplace where I could just stumble across Macross, etc...
