If you're going to keep it in fighter, just get a V1. Same deal and less of a hassle.

even i would to leave it in fighter mode, i would always get the latest mold, for the over all improvements

and in case i decide i don't like it, the resale value would hold better.

I've never liked the VF-27 design all that much, the glasses reminds me a lot of Aquarion.
That said, I'm in for one of this to complete the collection. Also, his fighter mode is alright
