Pierre Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 Ok guys i know the 19s is supposed to be optimized space but to me 19's should have canards. I have 2 1/60 yf-19 so i was toying with the idea to take the extra set and drill some holes in the 19s and put them in . Has anyone else attemted this mod
Reïvaj Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 [...] Has anyone else attemted this mod I hope not but good luck though
Graham Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 I actually love the streamlined look of the VF-19S/F without canards. They are my favourire 19 variants. Graham
sketchley Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 (edited) Technically the VF-19E, Basara Nekki's Fire Valkyrie, is a space optimized VF-19 with canards. Might be easier to just switch that fighter's wings for the VF-19S's, and paint it blue. Edited February 24, 2012 by sketchley
Pierre Posted February 24, 2012 Author Posted February 24, 2012 I dont think paint would stick well to the gloss plastic and stay. Besides basara in a green tee and speaker gunpod and the shoulder. Speakers put me off to cusomizing the kai besides hope fully the p will come with removeable sound system ,gu-15 and a extra pilot in normal fight gear i would drop the cash to buy 2of them .
Pierre Posted February 29, 2012 Author Posted February 29, 2012 Ok just got my shipping notice this am 299 including shipping. Going to need a steady hand for this mod

Pierre Posted March 3, 2012 Author Posted March 3, 2012 Quick question to anybody who has the 19s does the diecast back section still have the notch that would sit ontop of the canards in battaloid mode
PsYcHoDyNaMiX Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 Quick question to anybody who has the 19s does the diecast back section still have the notch that would sit ontop of the canards in battaloid mode I don't have the VF-19Kai, but yes it appears that the VF-19S does have the notches in the diecast back section for the canards.

Pierre Posted March 9, 2012 Author Posted March 9, 2012 (edited) http://m.flickr.com/#/photos/77642869@N05/6965767315/ Ok new pics are up had to paint it a couple. Of times the first run didnt survive transformation so i went with crylon fusion Navy blue it says that 7 days its chip proof so its staying in fighter till then Edited March 9, 2012 by Pierre
Kelsain Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 The color looks like a pretty good match. Looks neat! Gotta wonder if they would add a yellow stripe to those too... (null)
Pierre Posted March 12, 2012 Author Posted March 12, 2012 http://m.flickr.com/#/photos/77642869@N05/6830600180/ at work heres the other modes
Reïvaj Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 Pierre, are the canards fixed in that position? Because you ought to rotate them during transformation into battroid mode. They should be barely noticeable in that mode. Other than that, c’est pas mal du tout !
