I don't know but from personal experience, it breaks just sitting in the box. I got it in the mail a year ago and the right part was broken out of box. 1 transformation with out the shoulder, glued it back together. And back in the box it went till i got the new yf-19. When i took it out the shoulder part was broken in 2 other places.

Did anyone ever make replacement parts for the shoulders at shapeways. The only time I have spent with my 171 is painstakingly super glueing the tiny shattered bits of black plastic back into the shoulder joint.

Humm, what's usually the turn around time for repaints on a new mold. I want a VF-X2 Ravens version already.

Is this yf-19 release a one time deal like the vf-4, or will we see repaints and re-releases. I'm considering getting a payday loan to secure my 2nd unit.

I always thought a stab at the M3 Dreamcast license would be perfect for the non core vf. The vf-4 and vf-11 would be cost effective repaints and even a release of the m&m vf-1js. But that's probably a dream, I don't think M3 was ever popular enough where it was available

Is the cap part that sits behind the canopy loose when the canards are pulled out, or does it sit too high. It attaches thru on screw you might have tighten it down. Its under the armature that connects the forward fuselage

I say the p, besides just pop off the shoulder speaker fins and the sound booster should fit you just have to machine in some slots in the back pack unit ;-p

The poster from the wonderfest photos in the yamato sections says release date of the 19p is 11 2012 am i the only one stoked by this news i was thinking it was going to be released early 2013.

Hopefully the p will come with a gunpod and not a speaker pod. Along with the zolan markings NOT being tampo prints, removable shoulder speakers, and a pilot in normal flight gear. I think the p will be the bird most modded from yamato 's vf-19 series. Heck i wish that yamato would do the whole thing in the gray they used on the v2 vf-1 and put the leg vernier rings, intake covers, upper arms in dark grey and leave the other markings up to the buyer.

Rubber part is going to end up being the underside of the lerx in Fighter mode? ?? I wonder how that part will hold up to time.

Double nuts and bird of pray are both non canon their colors were in a magazine but they way yamato implemented them are not correct.

With the popularity of the 19 yamato could make a killing on non canon schemes.

I think that vf-4 is from macross the ride. It doesn't have arms to save weight i guess
