Major Focker Posted April 25, 2014 Share Posted April 25, 2014 i guess you're far from halfway done listing your stuff i've only been using that website to scan for upcoming stuff or to research on items that weren't mass released like GK and limited issues.i guess it would be pretty handy to also use it as an inventory. my excel file proved adequate initially but then as the collection grew and i started buying stuff that went directly to storage when i didn't have display space immediately available, there were cases when i couldn't recall what an item looked like though i had listed it in the file, or which particular version it is. as shared previously, i have a habit of picking up stuff simply purely on aesthetics/coolness even when i have no prior knowledge of the subject. when i relocated recently, i also had a sobering thought: i was allocated a 40-foot container which to my surprise was fully used, and over a third of it were toys, figures, model kits. when i moved to that country a few years ago, i managed with just a 20-foot container. Although the first Plum version has a sword holder too I believe. Sideshow can be hit or miss sometimes. For the price they should always be hit. I'm waiting to see how their Harley Quinn turns out next month. But there should be some female horror characters that would make better figures than these versions. They did that Ghostbusters girl. I get that it's a web exclusive deal but I really don't know all that much about figuarts ZERO. I take it it's not very big. anime52k8 Posted May 15, 2014 Share Posted May 15, 2014 it's a completely different figure of the same character in the same costume with basically the same pose. but one is kaitendo and the other is Orca; and the sculpt is definitely different. hair is more dramatic on the Orca one, her torso is longer and twisting more, the boobs are larger and her ass is smaller. I like the pose, it accentuates the long legs, slender body, fantastic curves, it's very elegant and artistic. For a moment there, I thought they were reissuing them again or something due to your post. If you've missed them, I'd say, move on. There will be more and there will be better stuff to come. I've missed out on a lot of past items, and now all I can do is try to catch the new stuff that's being advertised. I think I'm going to move on from anime statues and start looking into some of the better Sideshow premium statues. That new Machiko statue being released next year has me hooked.
