Macross Ace Frontier for the PSP.

Highjack!!!

'ruskiiVFaussie' I use PDA protective film that I got at OfficeMax. Goes on perfect equally easy to remove without mess.

More sheets for less cost. Hope that there is OfficeMax and not just Mad Max down under.

We now return to the regularly scheduled PSP love.

The screen shots of the Red VF-22 look awesome.

The Macross F game needs to have a very healthy toy franchise along with it.

New news from ign.com http://psp.ign.com/articles/894/894780p1.html replay feature confirmed :)

Macross Ace Frontier Update

Replay feature and new pilots confirmed for PSP adaptation.

by John Tanaka

July 29, 2008 - Following up on our screenshot update last week, we've got the latest details on Macross Ace Frontier, the new PSP title based off the classic Macross anime franchise.

Namco Bandai has confirmed the existence of a replay feature for the game. You can save full replays covering the start to end of your mission. The replays can later be replayed from your choice of camera angles and zoom levels. It's even possible to view the fight from the enemy's perspective. This replay feature is also compatible with the game's wireless ad-hoc wireless battle mode.

In addition to saving replays, the game also allows players to capture screenshots. These can be saved as wallpapers that are used in the game.

Namco Bandai has also disclosed a few new characters and mecha units. New characters include Vrlitwhai Kridanki (Macross), Guld Goa Bowman (Macross Plus), Mylene Flare Jenius (Macross 7), Gigile (Macross 7), and Luca Angelloni (Macross F). The total character count in the final build top 30. Joining the vehicle lineup, which will total over 40 in all, are Defender, Monster and Tomahawk.

Finally, a few additional details on the ad-hoc battle mode. The game lets you create an ID card consisting of your nickname, pilot status and level, mission completion percentage, item completion percentage, and play time. You can also decorate the card with your choice of icons and patches that you receive as you work through the game, and can add in a self introduction. This card is exchanged with other players when facing off in a wireless battle.

Macross Ace Frontier is now scheduled for a Japanese release on October 9. The title has yet to be announced for markets outside of Japan, so PSP owners should get set to go region free on this one.

I was hoping they would be unlockable myself.

EDIT More or less same article in japanese at gamespot with new piklot pics

http://japan.gamespot.com/psp/news/story/0...0372026p,00.htm

Can hope! Can't imagine them being able to cram all of it in, that's another 11 (plus about 6 destroid and Marduk/Zen/Mel-tran) mecha.

I'm looking forward for the replay function, I always want to see replay of memorable action like in GBC when I killed Zeta, The-O and Hyaku Shiki by using GM Sniper SP attack from a distance. I think the memory card will soon be full of VF actions when I got this game  .

I hope the Mac II valk is unlockable, there are plenty of serious Valk there like Metal Siren and the Gilgamesh powered armor.

Bah, I could list plenty of valk here that is not currently listed on Ace Frontier ^_^

Be kinda nice if you can share the replays with your friends we could post em here and vote on the best etc plus it would be good for bragging rights.

2. "yeah as IF!!"

EDIT: What the heck ill give them one last shot since they seem to do you guys good. maybe my last experiences were flukes. Besides for that price I can Have it shipped 2 day and get it cheaper than the 75 dollar order I hade at himeyashop.
