Toonz
does anyone know anything about this VF-0S kit by WAVE? it stands 15 cm tall. looks quite good i think
Sdf-1
Isn't it a model kit rather than a toy?
Penguin
Correct. It is a kit.
mechatek
15cm tall, would that make it 1/100 scale?
holytoledo69
15cm tall, would that make it 1/100 scale? 397376 Thats around 6 inches isnt it?
Agent-GHQ
Hi, I'm not a Math person per sa, but what is the formula to determine that 15cm = 1/100 scale? 15cm tall, would that make it 1/100 scale? 397376
Mowe
Wow!!! That hand/arm/chest plate look so right, if only I could steal that hands and transfer to the 1/60....
ikhii
I'm sure Yamato will come out with the two pieces of plates to cover the side of the chest when the Armor is out (is it coming out?) ... ahahaha..who knows but it will look beautiful. Nice detail lines... maybe i should put some lines on my 1/60 also.
eugimon
I do like the darker structural pieces better than the grey used on the 1/60 VF-0.
Less than Super Ostrich
Hard to get excited about this puppy when you got the Hasegawa, which blows this away, IMHO.
Berttt
I hear ya LSTO. There is a lot of surface detail missing on the fuselage, unlike the Hase which has detail packed in there.
Toonz
that's the reason why they are called Hasegawa; it's all about details. i see this kit more like an action figure that i can play with, don't mind having one
promethuem5
Is this plastic, or resin? I really want that Hase one, but I also want this one too if it's plastic... such is the pain of having lots of kits in lots of scales....
Ido
Nice kit, too bad it doesn't have clear parts, 1900 yen, so its surely plastic. I think i'll get one besides the hase kit that is awesome.
Remember Love
WOW!!! This one is so damn cool... when is it coming>? Edited May 9, 2006 by Remember Love
Guppy
yeah, the hands look great! And I love the head sculpt too. I can't be fully sure looking at the pics but it seems like the visor will be plastic that needs to be painted, rather than a clear plastic visor a la Gundam kits that you tint green. Which is a bit of a shame but what do you expect for such a low price.
honneamise
It is not Hasgawa quality in terms of engravings but it is still miles above the old Macross 1/100 kits from the 80s. Since I have lots of these old ones in my basement I´ll buy this one as well. Maybe I´ll be using the tritool templates to enhance the detailing but it looks cool out of the box. Any idea of the release date? Nothing on HLJ so far....

Graham
The July 2006 Dengeki Hobby magazine scans (just added to the main site), have a great 2 page photo spread on the Wave 1/100 VF-0S Battroid kit. Graham
