jasonkimberson
EXO Posted this on AP: Thought i should share it here: "Man, I'm excited about this news. While I wasn't too impressed with the story of Gasaraki, I was blown away by Yutaka Izubuchi's design of the TAs, the bipedal tanks of the show. Now Max Factory has released photos of their upcoming figures set to be released next year. I'm assuming these are going to be die cast, because of the company releasing it... JELEINEN
I agree the story wasn't the greatest, but that is a nice design. Doesn't look very articulate though.
motley
do we know if they're going to do the fakes as well? i'm much more partial to their design than the ATs. i liked the series, right up until that cop-out eva style ending. but it does not seem nearly as interesting on a second viewing. but the mechanical and character designs are top notch. Crazy Canuck II
I'm not real familiar with Max Factory... So what can be expected of these figures? Dicast & ABS?.... Articulated?.... Scale?.... Gimmiks & accessories? What has Max Factory's previous releases been like? Whatever the answers, it's still great to see Gasaraki TAs getting some love. GRAND CANNON
Yikes! These will hopefully look great! I believed that MF only dealt with vinyl kits, but then I remembered those little SAFS powered-suit figures. Never had one, but they seem to be pretty nice for what they are. Here's a write-up from ToyboxDX: http://toyboxst.inwards.com/rumblizer/view...article_key=353 And more of those figure pics here: http://www.hlj.com/scripts/hljlist.cgi?Ser...28SF3D%29&Dis=

They've also done some diecast work, the culmination being the excellent Genesic Gao Gai Gar
EXO
I hope these are die cast and not vynil, they also did a ABS Guyver I think. Hopefully more news comes out soon. I'm praying for die-cast because it's suppose to be a tank.... here's a little info from behind this robot.... I don't know if you guys can figure out anything. Where is this robot from? There's like 5 of them coming out... Edited September 3, 2004 by >EXO<

Zeorymer of the Heavens (Hades Project Zeorymer) The other four on the lineup are Lanstar of the Wind, Bryst of the Fire, Gallowin of the Water and another variation of Zeorymer. They damn better make Rose C'est la Vie of the Moon as well. Edited September 3, 2004 by areaseven
bsu legato
What kind of price tag do these these Max factory mecha usually command?
EXO
I saw the Gaogaigar for $180 at a local anime store. That's the die cast combiner. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...ssPageName=WDVW And the Guyver was $50 (now sold out at F&S) that's ABS/PVC. Pretty expensive for an action figure. If it's ABS I'm assuming it'll be in the same price range as the guyver. Hopefully... too far to tell...
GreatMoose
No word on scale yet? The Bandai kits were about 5 inches tall and were 1/35 scale. I bet we're looking at around the same size, maybe 1/24 if we're lucky.
Mechafan
Those look they are going to be nice. I can stop looking for the model kits.

rikiryou
Oh yes, finally. Something about it seems to appear weird though, can't quite put my finger on it. Perhaps they're not 'blocky' enough. We'll see how things turn out with colour.
EXO
I'm hoping for die-cast but it would be totally awesome if it has all the gimmicks like the model kits like opening hatches and such. So far, I can't see any hatches or anything, it's even hard to see the articulation. But if you seen their Guyver, it's really well detailed. I'm really unfamiliar with their vynil stuff... but I'd be disappointed if it was in that line.
Shmitty
I don't care what materials it's made of. I waited too long to try and snag the 1/35 Bandai model, so any Raiden toy is pretty cool to me.
motley
Zinc Panic is reporting that the Gasaraki and Zeorymer mechs are going to be part of a trading figure line called Collect 500, along with mecha from Brain Powered. normally this would probably be a bad thing, but i seem to recall that previous trading kit lines from max factory have been pretty decent. that said i'm still only interested in the gasaraki mecha. Graham
Thanks for posting the pic EXO. Wow, that does look like it's just a small trading figure with nearly no articulation. I wonder if the name 'Collect 500' implies that these are going to cost ¥500 each. Graham
ShadowerV2
Sorry to dig this old old old thread up. But did these things ever come out at all? I don't seem to be able to find any info on them.
