EXO Posted this on AP:

Thought i should share it here:

"Man, I'm excited about this news. While I wasn't too impressed with the story of Gasaraki, I was blown away by Yutaka Izubuchi's design of the TAs, the bipedal tanks of the show. Now Max Factory has released photos of their upcoming figures set to be released next year. I'm assuming these are going to be die cast, because of the company releasing it... "

do we know if they're going to do the fakes as well? i'm much more partial to their design than the ATs. i liked the series, right up until that cop-out eva style ending. but it does not seem nearly as interesting on a second viewing. but the mechanical and character designs are top notch.

Yikes! These will hopefully look great! :D

I believed that MF only dealt with vinyl kits, but then I remembered those little SAFS powered-suit figures.

Never had one, but they seem to be pretty nice for what they are.

Here's a write-up from ToyboxDX:

I'm not real familiar with Max Factory... So what can be expected of these figures? Dicast & ABS?.... Articulated?.... Scale?.... Gimmiks & accessories? What has Max Factory's previous releases been like? Whatever the answers, it's still great to see Gasaraki TAs getting some love.

They've also done some diecast work, the culmination being the excellent Genesic Gao Gai Gar

I hope these are die cast and not vynil, they also did a ABS Guyver I think. Hopefully more news comes out soon. I'm praying for die-cast because it's suppose to be a tank....

here's a little info from behind this robot.... I don't know if you guys can figure out anything. Where is this robot from? There's like 5 of them coming out...

Zeorymer of the Heavens (Hades Project Zeorymer)

The other four on the lineup are Lanstar of the Wind, Bryst of the Fire, Gallowin of the Water and another variation of Zeorymer. They damn better make Rose C'est la Vie of the Moon as well.

I saw the Gaogaigar for $180 at a local anime store. That's the die cast combiner.

And the Guyver was $50 (now sold out at F&S) that's ABS/PVC. Pretty expensive for an action figure.

If it's ABS I'm assuming it'll be in the same price range as the guyver. Hopefully... too far to tell...

I'm hoping for die-cast but it would be totally awesome if it has all the gimmicks like the model kits like opening hatches and such.

So far, I can't see any hatches or anything, it's even hard to see the articulation. But if you seen their Guyver, it's really well detailed. I'm really unfamiliar with their vynil stuff... but I'd be disappointed if it was in that line.

Zinc Panic is reporting that the Gasaraki and Zeorymer mechs are going to be part of a trading figure line called Collect 500, along with mecha from Brain Powered. normally this would probably be a bad thing, but i seem to recall that previous trading kit lines from max factory have been pretty decent. that said i'm still only interested in the gasaraki mecha.
