    The Arnold and Devito movie Twins beats all films for quickest theater to home release as it was released on VHS while it was still in theaters.

    It looks to be about the same level as a master grade gundam kit so assembling wouldn't take too long maybe 2 or 3 days. I could probly do it in a day since I'm on vacation. Keep in mind that's without painting which makes me a little discouraged given my skill level and what I've seen in this thread.

    I got some good old school anime on the way from Rightstuf with Space Adventure Cobra and Cat's Eye. Should be here in a day or two. Until then I'll keep watching Cobra on their offical youtube channel. I guess the best way to describe it is Space James Bond meets Lupin with artwork that would look right at home in Heavy Metal magazine.

    Well that was interesting. Gyanko while a little haughty doesn't seem to be the complete upper class snotty rich b**** everyone was expecting that we usually see in these types of shows.

    I got my first 1/20 Bandai Votoms kit today. Fyana's Brutishdog. I payed a little bit more than the HLJ price for it, but with shipping it would have ended up about the same.

    okay then about FURY... That's only some of the carnage that this film displays and goes out of its way to show the aftermath of. Thematically this film does resemble The Beast in a lot of ways, with the exception of the tank commanders attitude with Pitt's character doing some pretty brutal things to ensure the safety of his crew instead of serving his own interests. There's a definite anti-war stance in this film, but it doesn't beat you over the head with it or turn it into a farce like some films. The best way to describe its is "This is war. War is ugly, brutal, and complete sh*t. We shouldn't have to do it, but it is what it is deal with it because that other guy will kill you instead." All in all I have a feeling people will leave the theater feeling a lot like they did after seeing Saving Private Ryan. As for the technical aspects this film really did go out of its way to portray actual WWII combat with tactics like combined arms street sweeping, and using different types of ammunition in different situations like AP/HE/WP rounds or smoke.

    I just got back from seeing Fury and I need to let somethings sink in before I comment. I will say as far as depictions of warfare go this film is very brutal and this film may have redeemed Shia's acting career.

    This is it! my last race on the season, and probably for a long time since my brother is moving to Montana next month. With him gone I lose my mechanic, and transportation to and from the track. So much for Minion Motorsports. Its been a heck of a run.

    This reminds me of an old story I think I may have read about on MW. Years back they had this Aliens experience attraction that you were guided through by a Marine and along the way people in Xenomorph costumes would snatch people. One guy got grabbed and decided to headbutt the alien.

    Dude the fact that they started dating in highschool makes it a bit worse. He's 3 years older than her so the first time they could overlap would be when he was a 17 year old junior and her a 14 year old freshman. So he was age of consent, but she never was. That's kinda messed up.

    So yeah ummmm great Tony Stark has gone from being just a relatively normal dude in power armor to an artificial mutant that can pop armor out of his body like Colossus. :barf:

    I'm continuing with Dougram and I'm about roughly half way through. If there's any complaint I have its the "magic fore arms" that seem to be able to block any shot. I can't complain too much since both sides seem to do it quite a bit making it seem less of a character shield thing. Overall I'm still enjoying it big time.

    It's on there somewhere, I just can't remember where. I'm surprised nobody also noticed the VF-1's fore arms on it too. If you really want to have fun look up the USS Constellation studio model and spot all the VF-1 and Crusher Joe's Minerva parts you can find.
