  1. No her reaction isn't realistic and it feels forced because it only started at the begining of this season when she saw him with the girl from the gunpla academy. Prior to that she had no problem if Sekai talked to girls. Hell she had no problem with Gyanko bringing him a boxed lunch, only making fun of him for not knowing what it meant to a girl to do that for a boy. Now its like: "STAY AWAY FROM MY MAN YOU DIRTY HUSSIES!!!!" Almost overnight. I'm waiting for the moment when she sees him with his sister and freaks thinking they might be a little too close that we all know is coming.
  2. Bound was a good mob thriller even though with the way a lot of people have changed their views on homosexuality in the last ten or fifteen years its twist doesn't pack the punch it once did.
  3. We may not agree on much my friend, but this... this is true.
  4. So you want G.L.O.W, P.O.W.W, W.O.W, or to a very lesser extent W.E.W?
  5. AnimeSols problem isn't that people won't fund anime, its that for the most part the titles they're offering are really obscure or things nobody really wants. Notable exceptions being Creamy Mami and the Blackjack tv show. They need to learn just because Osamu Tezuka's name is in the credits doesn't mean its an instant winner.
  6. Discotek is quickly becoming one of my favorite anime companies of all time when it comes to the classics, and I'm a bit surprised they're going after some of the newer shows with this deal they cut with crunchyroll. They really cut Funimation off at the knee by grabbing the first season of Free! considering how Funi already has the second season. They also announced a kind of kickstarter type program where they will offer up pre-orders on shows to see if there is any interest and to cover the production run(acquiring, translating, putting on disc) so this may be our only chance of ever seeing things like Ideon, Dougram, or I dare say Legend of the galactic heroes to ever come stateside.
  7. That't why I don't have a White Dingo RGM-79 Sniper II yet. :sniffle:
  8. Here let me make up for it with this.... another anime featuring the Buccaneer.
  9. Damn harsh crowd. I wouldn't recommend watching episode 3 as it involves taking down a weapons dealer and blowing up his private vintage aircraft collection which includes things like the Arado Blitz, a drakken and a ME262.
  10. This reminds me the X-32 was actually featured in episode 8 of Najica Blitz Tactics. In the episode Najica and Lila are bodyguards posing as spokesmodels at the Paris airshow when one of the Humeriits they are tracking steals the X-32 nicknamed here as the Oboro. They end up chasing it down in a Blackburn Buccaneer of all things. The episode is on youtube, just be warned this anime was made by Studio Fantasia who are known for two things being hardcore military equipment nuts and including tons of fanservice pantyshots in their shows. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MoyPNMH49vs
  11. I think this has to be my favorite quote from a fan about last night's rumble
  12. Watching the post event show I was expecting the fans to start throwing chairs and things at the camera and desk crew as they shuffled past in disgust of how bad it was.
  13. For the record there is nothing wrong with playing one of the Traveller's Tales Lego games. They're easy to pick up and play, have tons of nostalgic fun for what ever brand you may like(Indy, Star Wars, marvel, DC, Harry Potter etc), and have some of the best puzzles that manage to be challenging without crossing the line into pure frustration. I just completed all achievements on Lego Marvel to go along with completing Lego Indy 1, Lego Indy 2, Lego Starr Wars complete saga, and Lego Batman 1 and 2. The Lego games aren't the only ones I completed, there was also Mercenaries 2, and Saboteur too.
  14. Now that I think of it an old PSX game called Dark Light Conflict did the same thing except trrying to avoid hitting anything you gained or lost energy depending on what color object you hit.
  15. I'm going to have an epileptic seizure attempting that.
  16. Considering they are both sword type fantasy series, and Bruce Campbell was in both Army of Darkness and Xena, I say just like like the volume title... Why Not?
  17. Part of Kancolle's fun like Strike Witches is seeing the little historical references sprinkled throughout the show. For example the reason Shimakaze's clothes are so skimpy and she likes running faster than everyone else is due to her ship namesake being striped of armor and outfitted with a experimental boiler system that made her the fastest destroyer of the war. Kongo's obsession with tea(not sure if this was shown yet) is a reference to the fact that unlike her sister ships she was built in the UK not in Japan. Her sister ship's the Kirishima, Hiei, and Haruna all have slightly different armaments and attire in the anime based on when they were historically upgraded from battlecruisers to fast battleships with different plans.
  18. Is anyone else getting annoyed at how Fumina Hoshino is getting treated now? She goes from being a strong independent woman in a badass GM to being relegated to crappy support status with a dumb SD gundam, and now in the span of just two episodes she's been turned into a lovesick fool spazzing out in a jealous rage over someone she never showed the slightest interest in the previous 12 episodes outside of a platonic friendship. She had no problem with Busty Mcshield before, but now its all: "GET AWAY FROM MY MAN YOU CHEAP HUSSY!!!" (stupid face, stupid face, etc)
  19. I think he got the pitman project confused with the civilian Hardiman project from the 1960s.
  20. Ahh NJ were dreams get destroyed under the clouds of the refineries and factories.
