Parts DONT have to be swapped. The shoulders can transform on their own without swapping. The only thing is the little flaps that come out in lambda mode. That's like asking for the intake covers to be transformable in a VF.

I like half-gerwalks modes for most of the VFs (legs down, but arms locked) but then I was struck with the realization that most VFs route their arms behind and around their legs... So unless their legs are down, their arms can't be used in an otherwise fighter mode. Except for one VF that is. Introducing the other half gerwalk mode. (Yes I realise I forgot to lower the right arm locking cap. T_T)

I dunno why we have 2 threads going. The other was locked and then was unlocked.... But I dont think locking writers in a room makes them better or worse necessarily. There are plenty of bad plotlines in hollywood movies, and the writer treatment must have varied massively. When it comes to bad plots, TF2 is bad, but not even close to being some of the worst. Can't blame it all on Bay.

This toy is super nice... I have a deep appreciation for finely detailed high-quality toys... I just don't know if I loved FMP enough to warrant such a hefty purchase though. If only these guys made a macross fighter...

Uh... Leo Spitz? I don't remember him contributing all that much to the plot. Not like he should be anyway; he shouldn't even be in it. Why expand his role? That sounds like less time for the robots... Which is already what people complain about. Who asked for more Leo Spitz????

Hopefully it'll mean improved storyline and better explanations. wow that gunpod is awesome wm. Are you just using acrylic clears for clearcoats or something else? Would it be better to try and clear coat the parts individually rather than as a built fighter mode? Sorry if you've already mentioned it and I missed it.

... Not much of a 'disguise' if you were found with an alt mode that was the first of a kind. So much for robots in disguise. How about robots as whatever the hell we feel like we wanna be, like a space tank ala Megatron. Argh. Its hard to hate this movie more than I already do. The only thing good to have come out of it was the OST... Which they basically ripped off entirely for T2 btw.

I dont understand. Jetfire died a long time ago. But it had to have been AFTER the creation of the SR-71???? How else did he take on the configuration of such a plane? Okay, so that sets his death after the 50's. Now you have to consider how he managed to get away with being disguised as a rather rare military vehicle, especially when they started becoming decommissioned... Where they generally have a lot of components removed, and their internals checked. THEY WOULD HAVE FOUND OUT HE WAS A TRANSFORMER. Not only that, he wouldn't be able to hide from any inspections either... Since he's friggin dead. Even if the government knew about transformers (ala the explanation of frozen megatron in T1), then they wouldn't keep Jetfire in a museum. Instead, they'd lock him up with Megatron... And probably speak about Jetfire's existence in the first movie. Man this... This is just too much. What the fart. How do you screw up a SR-71, I have no idea. Thanks for making the movie feel like a poor tack on, Bay. Even if Bay cannot be blamed for not doing research on the Transformers beforehand.. You'd think he'd actually think about the real life vehicles they take after.

Oh wow.... That was an amazing issue. Did they add magnets to the Armored Alto to allow it to carry the sniper rifle underneath the sidemounted pack? also a stand connector that allows both guns to be mounted under each other? also it has an amazing picture showing Armored Ozma with landing gears... Looks like there's plenty of clearance. and the plane doesn't tilt too badly at all. The step by steps were pretty awesome too, especially the ball joint mod for the ankles. Something was just made apparent to me though... Does Armored Alto not include Reaction Missiles?

yea, the gullet is thicker, and I can't quite understand whats going on, but the whole swappable landing gear section is never attached properly in any of the pictures. At first I thought it was the bay doors, but its not; that's further below. You'll see what i mean in the first 2 fighter pics.
