Since I have Patlabor Revys, WAVEs and Yamato as variable, posable figures -- I viewed the possibility of having MG kits as only having more of what I already have. Although the MGs do seem cheap enough I could pick them up anyway. But I recently picked up a few very old, fixed pose 1/48 Kaiyodo resin kits. The pieces are a rough, with pits and poor detail - so they should keep me busy later when I want something to really sink my teeth into. Kaiyodo used the same box for every kit and just added a small sticker in the lower right to differentiate them. I picked up 5 kits - one is the AL-97 Ground Defense Atlas. Really wish WAVE would have done this guy after its Helldiver. No clear canopy or anything with the kit - that would be a serious custom that might be fun to try to pull off... That price is fine for the M&Ms. I'm ready to pre-order. But these 1S releases are soooooo boring. Suppose we have to go through the white 1J yet too. Shock us with a Phalanx release announcement, shake things up Arcadia...

Yep - It would be painful to plunk down $1,500 on a vintage SHE Dangaioh only to have someone make one MUCH better, much cheaper. I am holding out hope. It just doesn't come off as a masterpiece like the price is commanding - otherwise I might still try to get it. I created an animated gif of Gil Berg's mech firing, I will paste it in here and see if it works... Hmmm - does not appear to be working...

Ahhh - the much debated Beagle release order. Me - I would play dirty and do the red Fuke second but leave out the bazooka. Then include it and a Mint figure in the Ray release third. That way you get large orders for all three and raise funds for the Yellow fourth... But - they didn't...

Right - if you're not five. I have twin 5 year olds and a 3 year old. They loved it and was a fun time out for the family. If you do not fit this description I would skip it...
