actually, IIRC, the cover for the hip/nosecone attachment was the first ever breakage reported when the Roy 1S first came out (even b4 the shoulder hinge)... by member Alex... his sheared completely off when trying to remove the T-bar from the hip/nose attachment...

just got confirmation that my 2 1Ds have been purchased... just need to wait for it to be hand delivered from HK... @logos - wouldn't it be great if you ordered that replacement part for the cover and they gave you the whole detachable fuselage/cockpit part (just like ordering the shoulder hinge and getting the whole arm w/ it)... you can have the 1S w/ the 1D fuselage/cockpit on it's arm w/out having to get it from your 1D...

so the April re-issue/re-stock of the 25F will be able to accommodate the armor pack as well?

yeah, i think the TV SPs will definitely look better on the 1D.

Graham mentioned that the v2 VF-1's after the VF-1D will have a thinner pin for the shoulder hinge... you might want to wait and get those instead... EDIT - if you want to get a 0S, make sure its the latest (Dec '08) re-issue... you can tell by the extra padding (bubble wrap and cardboard) at the back of the valk to prevent bent tailfins... i've had a chance to handle a floppy 0S and the new one is tight, almost as tight as the new v.2 VF-1's.

QFT... now that is the way a CC should be used... took me 3+ years (and lots of fights ) to convince my wife ...

no cracks yet on mine w/c i got just last year... but i did loosen the screw w/c is on the right side of the neck to relieve the stress it was putting on the plastic w/c might have caused the crack on melbin's 19...

knowing Roy... he would have his seat pulled all the way back so his lady can sit (ass or face, whatever) on his lap!
