  1. First off I don't know in what topic category this should fall into, hell I don't even know if it's proper to post such things but I'll do it anyway as this is one of these days when you feel totaly satisfied with life and it's simple pleasures. First, this morning I took a drive to the barber shop right after my wife and kids left to the summer house up north. I was enjoying a perfect road with no traffic whatsoever, driving my spanking new Honda Element (perfect variable SUV). Came back home with a fresh new haircut and spent almost 8 hours just laying in the sun (39%, not a cloud in the sky) reading through my whole collection of Hobby Japan and Dengeki Hobby Magazines. I spent also almost 4 hours uninterrupted in the pool with my whole lineup of 1/48's sitting in front of me on the walkway, transforming the hell out of them while sipping mojitos and smoking a huge cuban Montecristo Habana genuine cigar. When 6:00 PM hit me, I went and cooked myself the thickest T-Bone steak I had seen in my life, that marinated in Worchestershire sauce all day. After covering the carnivore's dream with Montreal steak spices and mixing a perfect ceasar salad, I opened up a bootle of Campofiorino Massi red wine. I chowed down the whole thing and I am now heading out to watch Macross Plus' 4 episodes without beeing interupted by my wifes requests, my baby's needs or my oldest's cravings for attention. I pinched myself a couple of times today to see if I was dreaming or if I was in fact enjoing these simple pleasures and the conclusion: it was (and still is) a perfect day. After watching M+, I am heading straight to Baskin Robbins to get a mega 2 scoops ice cream cone and then I'll head straight to bed. BLISSS.... Signing off.
  2. Never had a single problem with canadian customs holding a package for more than 2 days and I live in Canada too. The only real problem I've had is with people taking their sweet time shipping and then blame it on the customs though. (and NO !, I don'T work for Canada Customs...) edit, spelling
  3. This is hilarious. (goes back to bed yawning...)
  4. And you spelled sleek wrong (sleak). Is there no respect for dixslexic members anymooore ?
  5. there isnt space for a cockpit for a pilot to be in. my best guess a robot or a drone. Please don't shoot me, I havew absolutely no recollection of where i found that beast.
  6. What kinda of display case is he gonna need to store this !!!??? That has to be the coolest thing I've seen in a while.
  7. Found this by mistake on a japanese website. While it is not a valk, I think it is a kickass example of what the future of macrsso could have been would the series have progressed like the Gundam series for example. Comments ?
  8. Could this be Focker's old plane ?, does the AA tailcodes stand for Alcoholics Anonymous ? guess we'll never know...
  9. looks promissing. Based on the comparisson shot with a 1/48 valk, these would be about the same size as the alpha superposables. They may actualy be small enough that my wife will not notice it in my display... hehe...
  10. Well these little thingies are quite posable after all. Thanks for the laugh.
  11. ROFLMAO !!!! BTW, no offense Geecie but it is my firm conviction that you should never attempt to become a plastic surgeon. edit: for spelling
  12. Best way to remove is to drop the valk on the floor, then it comes off very easy.
  13. Gawd Damn !!! What happened to her eyes ???
  14. Forget gundam, what I reeealy don't get is Mask Rider series, now that is a weird one
  15. I just noticed that what makes these so realistic is the blurr effects. Just can't stop watching them... Hehe !
  16. All this nonsense doesn't approach the magnificience of this batman, the meanest, badest of them all with his batbelly. Beware impostors !
  17. Yeah I like that one too !!! Not bad really I found another one, look http://www.hkedcity.net/citizen_files/aa/j...309/90223/1.gif
  18. Just happened to stumble on these gems. This guy has talent with the limited means available. look ! http://www.e-gameclub.com/useruploadfiles/...19829320925.gif ://http://www.e-gameclub.com/useruploa...9829320925.gif http://www.e-gameclub.com/useruploadfiles/...19829320925.gif ://http://www.e-gameclub.com/useruploa...9829320925.gif http://www.e-gameclub.com/useruploadfiles/...19829320925.gif ://http://www.e-gameclub.com/useruploa...9829320925.gif http://www.e-gameclub.com/useruploadfiles/...19829320925.gif ://http://www.e-gameclub.com/useruploa...9829320925.gif http://www.e-gameclub.com/useruploadfiles/...19829320925.gif ://http://www.e-gameclub.com/useruploa...9829320925.gif Enjoy !
  19. AAAAAhhhh Uuuuummh, My crystal ball sees a thread being moved in a couple of minutes... The spirits have spoken.
  20. This guy doesn'T look japanese to me !!! Anywho, I think I got the picture. I apologize if that topic stirred some s**t between eugimon and stamen, I should not have asked this question maybe.
  21. It's a sad, sad day for fast food chains... Farewell Don Vito Corleone
  22. then again, why slight slant eyes and slight japanese looking nose, why not go all the way and make her asian if it is intended indeed? Strange stuff.
  23. While a plausible explanation, that would be very sad... You can see sometimes that efforts to "asianize" some caracters are there ie Shin Kudo looks abit asian, Basara in M7 looks asian but still, Myung in M+ looks a bit asian but still, these are very faint traits. I just find this very confusing (and yes by the way, I am caucasian but I admire asian beauty)
  24. Here's a question I've had for as long as I've been a fan of mangas/anime. While most of the caracters are from asia (japan, china etc...) and have asian names (hikaru, Isamu etc...) none of them appear to have asian caracteristics (black hair, eye shape...). Please don't get me wrong, not that I mind at all, I just find it curious. Is there any reason for this ?
