  1. True true... I agree with you. This is the type of thing we usualy only see a obscure resin kits from Japanese hobby shows.
  2. NIICE !!!! Thank you for the link. Unfortunatly, it is now the 1st of January and I just woke up with a pretty hard hangover from the party last night so the quality difference is not that obvious to me anymore... No, honestly that's perfect. Thank you so much !
  3. While cleaning up one of my drives, I found a VFX-2 intro clip I downloaded way back from the imacross servers. The copy I have is quite blurry and does not show good details of the upcoming Konig Monster. Can one of you point me to where I could get a clean, hi res version of the intro clip ? Thanks
  4. Yeah, What he said and try to get a nice color nail polish that matches the nails of the battroid like glossy pink or something... God, I should be in bed by now....
  5. Yeah, I don't know what just happened, they all went down at the same time. Hang in there, they may come back... I am actually gonna upload them here instead of inserting the link to the site I found them. Here's one
  6. I have another image I found of the EX-s that you might like
  7. I think the only difference is the equipment. The gundam "body" is the same size but the one I see assembled when I go to my local anime store is HUGE by regular MG standards and I think tht's the one you are interested in. It is with very minor differences like the image below: I think it also fully transforms into the starship below. Hope this helps
  8. The 1/100 EX-s Gundam is pretty big compared to the other 1/100 line-up. If you compare it to a RGM-GM for instance, it'll look like a midget. I'd say it is about 10 inches tall compared to about 7-8 for the RGM-GM
  9. Yeah !!! Just the guy I wanted to see in this thread. Takatoys, what would you need to make a custom sheet. No way in hell I'm putting Yamato cheap ass sticker on my monster. I guess a high res scan of the original sticker sheet would do ?
  10. I REALLY, REALLY like that thing. Boy I am going to have to fake some kind of illness again to escape from the office and play with this monster once it comes in...
  11. You lucky bastards !!! I have mine on order with Toy-Wave. I hope Ken is placing mine in th email as I write this.... Please Ken, help me, I'm going insane...
  12. And there is about 20 of them all at 700$, WTF ???
  13. Well based on what I just saw here, I just placed my order for the Impuilse GQ and Yamato monster with Toy-Wave. He's got the impulse GQ for 50$, pretty decent price isn'T it ? I love the MMM gundam figures. For anyone woindering if they are worth it, just give it a try. Graham, my guess is that the impulse is not as heavy as the strike mmm ?
  14. I don't know how they run their business but I head a company where we have constantly new products that we put on the shelves. If my product development team were to miss dealines and screw up on QC in the lines of what Yamato is constantly doing, I'd kick a lot of butts and many of my guys would be eating beans instead of turkey for christmas. Gawd damn Yamato, grow up !
  15. Yeah, Looks like they have Mongo "the retard artist" working on their boxes again. You know what, I'd gladly take the option (if there was an option..) to buy my yamato products whitout the packaging. I just don't know why they insist in making these things huge and therefore costly to ship as hell.
  16. Hey by the way. Can someone point me to the pictures Shawn had once posted of a resin model of the Konig Monster ? thanks
  17. I've heard that this YF-19 will be sold as a "completed resin model". I assume this means it will be finished like the kits SHE currently sells. Even better for those artistically challenged. Carl not to get us off topic again but where can one order one of these babies when they do go up for sale? Cause I really want one! I'd say you should keep a close eye on ebay. If my instinct serves me right, they should start popping up here and there from Hong Kong sellers about 3-5 days prior to the official launch on the 28 of December. Hong Kong by the way are the most reliable retailers I've dealt with ever (except Valkyrie Exchange and Twinmoons of course ). I am not chinese, or asian and I am located in Canada and this is by far my best source of vitamine A (anime) for price and reliability. My 2 cents
  18. Still... Bad Yamato president, bad... By the way, had it not been for the existence of Macrossworld, I would probably not have become the Macross toys addict I am now and I'd be a couple of thousands dollars richer today. Come to think of it I actualy should sue Graham for making me an addict to these plastic thingies
  19. Yamato got a new president and he doesn't like talking to fanboys. Graham wasn't the only one to get cut off. It probably didn't help that he visited this website once... Ugh the new Yamato president came here? Can he read English? No wonder he cut MW off if he read all the whining that goes on in this toy forum... Booohoo ! Whining is good. Bad Yamato president, bad president !!!, hope you end up working at Toynami.
  20. Go to the page at this link and download the short CG movie. I just wish they'd make a whole series like this. Drool !!!
  21. Thanks. I'm familiar with Valkyrie Exchange. I'm not so familiar with TMPAnime. Is it possible to tell what the shipping charges would be with these two with out actually having to place a pre-order? If they are similiar I think I'd rather go with Valkyrie Exchange even though he's $5 more simply because I've heard many positive things regarding Valkyrie Exchange, not that I've heard anything negative about TMPAnime. Anyone here have stong feelings one way or the other? Feel free to PM me if you don't want to say something publically. Just wanting to be an informed consumer. Thanks, Carl Both Kevin (VE) and Tanim (TMP) are good reputable dealers you may have to look up the Straightshooters list for their member names. I believe Tanim is TwinMoons and Kevin of course Valkyrie Exchange. In regards to the public dealing with TwinMoons I've dealt with Tanim and has never disappointed me in fact all the stuff that I've recieved so far has very little shelf-wear on the box and he packs his stuff with styrofoam peanuts. Kevin does an outstanding job as well. I got my Escaflownes from him without a scratch. Ditto, Same here. May I had that not only are they reputable but also very friendly as if good service did not suffice. Deal with them with no fear my friend.
  22. Oh please Graham, spice up our lives at a time when only christmas TV re-runs are available, we all need a good scandal. Hell I may even burn a few Y*mato toys too for a scoop, as long as you don't ask me to burn my Yamat* toys as well, I'm ok
  23. Was there ever a picture taken of the underside (belly view) of the shuttle mode ? I'd love to see how it looks. By the way, was THIS thing ever posted here. I know it's not Yamato's VB-6 but this lego constructor has some great talent
