Boy Kurt, I gotta say you got balls doing this to a 1/48. Nut sure if you are going to leave it like that cause I've seen your previous customs and they are flawless. I just think the effect looks a bit too much like melted plastic but once painted, It may look less transluscent and may turn out good. my 2 cents

I posted a magazine scan of the unpainted Cosmic Region Force Impuse sculpt a couple of pages back (page 69 to be exact). Graham What scale is that going to be 1/144 like the FIX line ? the sculpt is very sexy. I just wish they'd stop making nice toys, then I'd have more money...

Those Arch Enemy Strikes look real good too. I was fortunate enough to get one through a member (HGblows). I just can't wait to get it to see if it is much different from the MMM. I know the price is waaaay lower.

I agree, The madcat's pilot is waaayyy too small. Here's what I did with mine. I put a 1/48 scale f14 pilot in it and as per the scale references I found on some webpage (I can't remember the address), it looks to be more in line with 1/55 or 1/60 like you say. When I saw your picture showin the viper pilot, I just couldn't belive Joyride was so fooked up with the scale as once again it looks way to small. By the way, here's what I did with my Madcat.
