Ok, I have the arch enemy strike, the mmm strike (active, and deactive versions) and the force and sword impulse GQs. The only comment I can make is that while the strike AE is really really nice for 7.00$, it doesn't have the awesome solid feel of the mmm and GQ lines. The weight of these 1/100 scale gundams is very satisfying. The finish is flawless and the balance of the toy when on it's feet is near perfect. The is NO comparision between the strike AE and the GQ line, period. Oh ! also, I forgot to mention, the strike AE is smaller somehow than the mmm strike. I also own a 1/100 model of the Astray blue frame and is is awefuly small compared to it so my guess is that it's out of scale. Also, my AE strike's wing pack has warped wings (gashapon desease...) The only AE gundam I own that is really impressive is the zero custom. but don't expect to get the same satisfaction from the strike. Don't get me wrong, I really like my strike AE but not nearly as much as the other guys I talked about.

Is it just me or is the strike gundam smaller than let's say a MkII ? I had the PG MKII and I think it was much much taller than my 1/48 valks.

Yup, You are sooo right and knowing other countries cultures is not one of america's greatest traits. Ignorance and arrogance however is how americans are seen now in the world. I'm not talking here about radical countries that nurture unjustified hatred towards the occident, I am talking about the old, very cultivated countries (europe, even the UK) and asia (japan etc...) This perceptin is well justified. I remember once participating in an international swimming competition in Sydney Australia. The welcoming commitee was sooo anxious to welcome the US team as they had a reputation of being real hooligans. As they expected, this bunch of foulmouthed guys come out of the airport gate complaining about this, about that and how much better it was home and blablabla... how many times in how many other countries was I witness to the same shamefull spectacle. I not sure but it seems the americans need to go out a bit, not just to impose their ways on others but to learn bout them a bit. As for Peter who claims he was forced to learn french during his youth, do you feel now richer knowing two langages or poorer intellectualy ? Would you rather have suffered the faith of the Cajun in the state of Louisiana, that were sent to jail on the spot if caught speaking french ? By the way, setting aside what I just said. I think this joke is lame.

To me, and for those old enough to remember. The dumbest toy ever is the "Hugo, the man of a thousand faces" toy. At 8 years old, I actualy menaced leaving the house if my parents that if they'd buy it for me. Fcuk that toy is sick... still have nightmare about it. LOL !

Since I've started being attracted to colecting toys (mostly japanese) I've had some serious eye sores. I think it is now time to reveal your all time favorite dumbest looking toys. May I start the thread by submitting my very own dumbass toys: The mermaid & Nether gundam My guess is these are both psychological warfare gundams, made and designed to make the opponent laugh so hard they just die. The other explanation I could find is maybe that the "fish" gundam sits in front to the "fan" gundam and the fish smell is blown upon a village killing everyone instantly but then, then the "'fish" gundam needs to hide real quick because of all the cats that may be attracted and would get sucked down it's turbines...
