  1. That is disappointing to know.
  2. Bodol's 1.4 megameter flagship and the 3-megameter factory satellite were both capable of space folds on reasonably short time scales, so it seems the technology exists. And I'd just like to note that science-fiction is missing out on a grand thing by typing phrases like "three thousand kilometers" when they could be saying "three megameters" instead. Even ignoring all the other issues, shrinking giant soldiers to human size to save space doesn't really work out, since your ship still has to be large enough to accommodate all those soldiers and their equipment at full size once the operation begins. You need space for the troops to be upsized, space for the equipment to be assembled, space for gearing up, boarding vehicles, et cetera. You can't just make a couple of them bigger, assemble a couple mechs, send them out, then repeat to limit your staging area space. You need the capability to rapidly launch large forces for both offensive and defensive purposes, so you need to be able to accommodate a large force of men and armament in their operational state.
  3. Then giant-size soldiers might not be for you.
  4. I was under the impression that R was mostly just a new head and paint, and no mold changes were made.
  5. That is quite fair. My thought was "if we're gonna put 'em on pegs, they may as well be Weaponizer limbs", not that weaponizing Kup should've been their first goal. I do agree with your durability concern, and the feature probably should've been implemented a diffrent way. That they chose the way most likely to cause problems down the line and also didn't choose the way that enables off-label silliness disappoints me, though.
  6. I am genuinely disappointed by this, for some reason.
  7. And great-uncle Basara is shouting "LISTEN TO MY SONG!!!" at some poor innocent geological featured
  8. I miss my Shield Jazz. It was within reach of a new puppy, who apparently wanted to make it more screen-accurate, but had only seen Bay's work. ... Yeah. Ripped in two. I found the top half and bottom half in diffrent places.
  9. I suspect they have problems that can best be solved by a certain space trucker with a uniquely-customized VF-19... I also suspect everyone in the galaxy is trying to keep said space trucker ignorant of events, because of HOW he solves problems.
  10. I actually didn't realize Bombshell had an Action Master version. That explains that. Really, they shoulda gone all-in and just Action Master'ed the whole line. No half-measures.
  11. Why does Bombshell's package have the late-gen logo like Banzai-tron? He should have the same logo style as Starscream. I thought it was cool that they were using the period-appropriate logos for the characters until I got to him.
  12. I am TOTALLY okay with Albegas Gladiator Voltron getting the SOC treatment too. (I actually remember seeing that toy in stores and being excited there was a THIRD Voltron. Then disappointed when I never saw him in the cartoons.)
  13. And a Voltron Force Voltron while we're at it. Get every Voltron the SoC treatment, and Force its first toy robot ever!
  14. Or, since it is a limited edition, "Who cares, we'll sell out before they can arm the lawyers." Wouldn't be the first time they pulled that move.
  15. No, Voltron 3D Stealth Voltron isn't to be announced until NEXT month. No mercy for the wallet! (I kid. To my knowledge, there are no further Voltron SOC releases planned.)
  16. I mean, the same thing applies to Godzilla. He's way too big to be a functional biological organism as shown. But it is fun, so we don't care.
  17. Kumoko is very well done. I really feel like they nailed the character. Having read a good bit of the prior art on this one, I was looking forward to it. And with the benefit of foreknowledge, it is kinda amazing how bad those dudes that burned Kumoko's web screwed up. She woulda just stayed in the cave eatin' frogs and livin' the indolent shut-in life if they hadn't gone and poked the dragon spider. But they did, and thus we have a story. But as I said elsewhere... You are hereby formally notified that the anime adaptation of "I'm a Spider, So What?" has begun airing. It is the best isekai anime, because it is "I'm a Spider, So What?".
  18. I've got a Quest 1. Haven't been doing a lot with it lately, but I'm a big fan of Synth Riders for my music game. I prefer its music selection and visual style to Beat Saber. Space Pirate Trainer is a pretty fun "single-screen" shooter. It is an older VR game, but still fun. For PC-tethered games... I've had a lot of fun with randomized-map shooter Compound. Great way to get your Wolfenstein on. Redout is a hovercar-racing game in the same vein as Wipeout and F-Zero. Also has a flatscreen mode, but why would you want to?
  19. I actually saw a review of that recently. Apparently @Games has done a lot to make up for their previous mistakes in the Legends cabinet.
  20. More proof they wanted to be writing Star Wars, I guess. Imperial safety standards make the Federation look like the strictest of nanny states.
  21. Honestly, reading about it instead of watching it I'm just thinking "Charlie X, only more dangerous and they brought him home anyways"
  22. Dangit, Carl, you were supposed to get rid of EVERYONE! Actually, this raises questions. If the Guardian is a moral being, is there a Mirror Guardian that is evil and wears a stone goatee?
