  1. F-works has done 1/144 Macross before. They were pretty detailed and good quality. I've been collecting Gimix also (just 1 US type of each. So many color variations of different Japanese bases I'm not familiar with..) Their quality is a little better than F-works. I'm 99% sure they will just release 3 forms as different pack - each with color variations. Then they will release LED afterburner unit.
  2. Just wishful thinking, man... just wishful thinking... Who knows thou.
  3. If this sells well - Bandai and Arcadia might jump on it. if not - nobody will touch it again.... So, I just bought one. I do have other toys from evo. They are pricey, but they aren't that bad....
  4. Currently on hold until I get my new house and set up mancave...Hopefully very soon!
  5. Got mine as well.. It's really nice, but still that blue...hhmmmm... Maybe it will fade out a little if I put it outside in the sun for few days..
  6. Oh Cool! So.. this was not a new idea after all!~
  7. True that!~ I'm not really good with electronics.. Yet I like little gimmicks like wings movement and flaps, lights..etc. However, the cost seems a lot more than the entertainment value, and the shape doesn't sound all accurate. So probably not worth it for me.
  8. There was also the correction kit for that http://www.zactomodels.com/html/F-14/F14_intakes.htm I guess you guys know about this already since you were part of other forum discussion...
  9. There was 'D' conversion kit for Tamiya kit (http://www.hlj.com/product/wlfwp32001/Air) . I was confused because I was looking at the model that was converted using that option part. I just thought the Infrared remote controler idea was cool for moving parts and LEDs. BTW, Kinokuniya bookstore got back to me with info if anyone is interested. *The subscription prices(store pick up) are By Sea 6mo (25 issue) - $611.56 1yr (100 issue) - $1158.75 The payment of the subscription must be prepaid.
  10. I believe they used Tamiya 1/32 F-14D kit - not Academy kit You mean this angle? Maybe it's not correct degree?
  11. I did a quick math and the total came out to be around $1,700..over roughly 2 years....Maybe too much..?
  12. I'm not sure if this is right section of the forum to post this since it's not really Macross model (but hey it's cool F-14 model), so please move if it's not. From Hachette Collections Japan, Introducing 1/32 F-14 Tomcat - 'Subscribe to magazine to build' series. Basic idea is you apply for subscription of their magazine ( from issue 1 to 100) and the magazine comes with pre-painted parts of 1/32 F-14. The complete model features remote controlled Engine turbine rotation, LED light up, Canopy opening, Wing open/close, landing gear open/close, tail wing movement, speed break flaps movement, sound FX..etc Also manual movement of main wing spoiler, main wing flaps, Check out the movies link below TV CM DVD introduction If I'm correct, Some Japanese bookstore in US can do the subscription for you. I'm gonna check Kinokuniya bookstore in my neighbor tomorrow. First Issue comes out on 1/21!~
  13. Believe it or not, the monster seems it's right scale. I measured it when I made mine to 1/3000 hwr-00-kmII cockpit is huge ans it's tiny top portion of monster.
  14. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 3D printer abuse case!!!
  15. Something tells me this is gonna be smaller than Arcadia YF-19. Bandai never mention their scale on DX chogokin line anyways..
  16. more images from ToysDaily
  17. Someone posted images of new Honda NM4-02 with YF-30 Chronos style markings and paint on a website I visited. It was too awesome not to share it here. I believe it's done by a Korean custom shop and the first owner of this bike in Korea. Original post (link permission pending, so this can break anytime) US Honda website for NM4 (MSRP $10,999)
